Who gives a shite? Her being the best wife and mother in recorded history ceases to mean anything the moment she murders her kids.

Additionally, the husband is suing the doctors and drug companies, so blaming her for this doesn't help his financial cause.

When has any family member in any kind of true crime scenario been like "Oh yeah, I definitely saw it coming. They were bound to kill their kids eventually". Literally never happens.

I hear ya, but this chick told her husband she had thoughts of hurting the kids prior to all this going down.

Just another thing showing premeditation imo. Selfish enough to have these thoughts and not seek help out of fear of being away from her kids.

This the same husband that TikTok had you positing as the real killer?

This lady is clearly out of her mind, but it would be wild if the husband did it and framed her. He wouldn't have expected her to survive falling out of the window.

Let me make this easier for you since you can't seem to answer the question.....intentionally killing your own kids makes you categorically a bad parent and a bad person.

0% chance shes convicted. There are Karens on that jury that would rather die than convict her.

In the afterlife. I honestly don’t know how the husband didn’t kill her when it all went down. I’d lose my damn mind.

See, this is actually you being very emotional

It says a lot. Some of y’all want to use the emotion of anger just as much as any female is using their emotions right now

The written law of Mass has insanity not only as a defense, but as states the burden of proof lies on the state

You can hate the law all you want, but that’s the law.

How Clancy acted during “normal” times is actually very important to the trial and case

The only thing the TikTok crowd has been consistent on is that Lindsey in no way can bear any responsibility at all for what happened.

1. First, she was failed by her family and husband. (actually she had a nanny and he stayed home to help)
2. Then, maybe it was really the husband who did it! (literally nobody surrounding this trial has ever hinted as such)
3. Ok, ok, next it was the doctors who were individually and collectively responsible; they should know better than to medicate someone asking for medication (though she clearly hid from them her thoughts of infanticide)
4. Well, society is responsible for not centering PPD and PPP

And the only thing this board has really argued is that the law is shite (which I agree with)

If you even try and discuss insanity people here lose their fricking mind(no pun intended)

You are usually hit with “who cares if she was insane?!!!”

Clancy isn’t insane. She’s never been insane. She’s a run of the mill psychopath.

Got it. Thanks.

Am I reading Massachusetts law right that he cannot send them back twice?

I believe he can't send them back more than twice without the agreement of the jury. Not sure how that works.

That’s fine. I believe based on all evidence and the trial it’s reasonable to believe she was insane . I think it’s 50/50

Doesn’t mean I don’t want her to go to jail, doesn’t mean I don’t think she is a monster, etc. The state didnt come close to proving to me beyond all reasonable doubt she wasn’t insane

At times it actually felt like the state was trying to prove she was kinda insane …

So insane she can plan out a window of opportunity to kill three children while sending her husband away, conduct a phone call in the middle of it, and then immediately ask for a lawyer when she wakes up in the hospital.

If she was insane then so is every other murderer in the history of murder. As a matter of fact, any time a husband comes home from a bad day and work and beats his wife because the house wasn’t clean then that’s temporary insanity too.

No doctor seemed to argue insane people can’t plan In fact just the opposite seemed to be established. That people with extreme delusions and even schizophrenia can have elaborate plans etc while having episodes
