The women who support Lindsay Clancy are the same ones who have TDS. Women have crossed the Rubicon with this one though. Saying they shouldn't be allowed to vote or that they don't belong in the workplace might have seemed a bit extreme, but now with a huge percentage of them actively supporting a woman who admitted to murdering her kids, everything has to be reconsidered. You can't have men and women both voting when one side might have to be drafted to fight in wars and the other side doesn't, yet still gets to vote on it. It's as if some of them vote for things just to spite men.

Yeah. The MDS (MALE Derangement Syndrome) these women are spreading around to each other over the internet, is going epic scale. And this case has turned many of them into frothing crazed dogs

Off topic, but what would you do if your wife told you that?

I would have gotten her arse away from the kids.

Not trying to exonerate her or blame him. I am just saying that is what I would do. NFW I leave her alone with them until I am sure she is back on solid ground.

Just because you’re crazy doesn’t mean you lose all intellect. Most crazy people I’ve been around seem to be incredibly ingenious about pulling their stunts.

I’m not saying this woman is innocent by any means. However, I do think she has to be bat shite crazy. She definitely needs to be in a mental institution for the rest of her life.

And the only thing this board has really argued is that the law is shite (which I agree with)
My issue with all of this has more to do with the external, social component.

The actual outcome of the trial for those involved directly has no grand impact on anything.

The issue is the social and gender-related tribalism that is coming forth.

The ideas of raising over $1 million for a child murderer, calls for empathy and sympathy for the child murderer, the, once again, screeching of how women are simply neglected and ignored in society, etc.

And you place that on top of the already massive gap in male and female sociopolitical viewpoints, and you have a recipe for disaster.

You could have a discussion about PPD and PPP (two concepts which are in no way ignored or neglected in modern society) while justifiably recognizing that this woman should be shot out of a cannon in to orbit.

Instead we have women treating the defense attorney like he is Jesus Christ and I expect there will be candles with Clancy’s picture on them soon enough.

And, despite arguments to the contrary, the size of the group of women who support Clancy getting off is not small.

This is a gender-based OJ trial.

I have a flat out opposition to the very concept of Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.

It was never proven she had delusions or schizophrenia. Zero evidence of that. And even if she did... to the point she was apparently so wicked and cunning as to plot a triple murder during her "episode", she is clearly a massive danger to society and should never see the light of day again.

You know those 3 men stood firm.

2 jurors showing up wearing pink shows where their minds were. Nothing about a new trial will be fair. Jury pool tainted nationally now.

Every defense attorney in the country with no morals will be hiring marketing firms to construct narratives about their client on TikTok from now on

If which part happens?

It is being reported that two of the female jurors showed up wearing pink. The same as the Lindsay protestors/supporters

If you're a fetus, a newborn or a toddler, would you choose your mother or a bear? This should trigger the feminists.

Im not sure your conclusion is correct. My wife went to run some errands today. She was wearing pink, she really likes pink. As a mother of three She certainly isn’t in solidarity with this woman. She was just wearing pink today.

Assuming they have to re-try and jury nullifcation/hung jury again ...

I mean this would establish a precedent where every man in Massachusetts should sleep with one eye open, if married.

"Oh, I had a hormonal imbalance due to the medical system failing to diagnose/treat/yada ... and I snapped and killed him in his sleep. I'm actually the victim here ..."

Who wears a color like pink to jury duty?

And two decided on the same day to do it with all of the public attention and protests?

Maybe it was a weird coincidence, feel like it isn't.

Yea well there would be more ramifications than just that. Much worse for women long-term

quote:

If Lindsay Clancy is found innocent because hormones made her emotionally unstable, women better be very careful celebrating that verdict.

Because the law loves PRECEDENT.

From that day forward, every job application is going to have a new question:

“Are you currently hormonal?”

“Well, I’m a woman.”

“Thank you. I think we’ll be going in another direction.”

You can’t carry a weapon anymore. No female police officers. Sorry, but we cannot hand a loaded gun to somebody whose legal defense might eventually be, “My hormones were acting up.”

No more high-stress jobs, either. No air-traffic controllers. No surgeons. No nuclear-launch codes. One bad hot flash and boom ?? Canada is glowing.

And women definitely can’t be judges. How can you decide whether somebody else is emotionally stable when your own gender just established in court that hormones can make you kill three people?

No female politicians, either. You can’t be trusted to run the country if, according to your own argument, your endocrine system occasionally takes over the government.

And custody hearings are going to change overnight.

The judge will say, “Ordinarily, children belong with their mother. However, according to the Lindsay Clancy precedent, she may be only one hormone away from a Netflix documentary. The children go with Dad.”

Dad doesn’t know their shoe sizes, the pediatrician’s name or which one is allergic to peanuts, but his testosterone has never been successfully used as an insanity defense.

Feminists spent a hundred years saying women are not hysterical, irrational creatures controlled by their biology and one defense attorney walks into court and says, “Ladies and gentlemen of the jury… have you considered the uterus?”

You cannot demand equal authority and then ask for discounted accountability.

If women want equal rights, great. But equal rights come with equal wrongs.
Otherwise, that glass ceiling is about to become a padded ceiling.
