I don't like the Guidry's, I think that they are a family of thugs that have a lot of money, but I can agree with Shane on this.

Didn't he get into a brawl with Al Copeland and his family at a restaurant about 20 years ago?

I love how they are moving to what maybe 30 years ago was considered possibly the skuzziest area of the entire N.O. metro.

Isn't the Texas Motel where Jimmy Swaggart was caught with his pants down?

not a single NOLA resident poster to tell us that the crime statistics are overblown and that the block they live on is as safe as any place in the country?

Now that he is gone I wonder if Shane will still run showdow organizations to interject his politics in New Orleans

His dad did. Mortons.

Copeland alleged Bobby even hit his wife. Think there were competing lawsuits at one time.

They're under reported.

Not the country or Audubon Place, but my block is pretty safe.

My company's regional office is not far from Harvey Gulf's office on Poydras. We've recently reduced our footprint in that building and opened up smaller locations in Baton Rouge and Jefferson because we've had issues in NOLA.

So it's a real problem. It's not just Harvey Gulf's particular building. And it's not just the female employees that have complained about safety and convenience.

Better they move to Jefferson than to Houston IMO.

No, It was the Travel Inn, further down Airline where Metairie Club Estates is now.

If anything, they are under-reported.

JEDCO has done a great job recruiting businesses to Jefferson Parish. Airline Hwy is gross, but it can be revitalized. Chick Fil A will also be opening across the street from the Texas motel.

Actually it’s a good area to move to. It’ll rid us of the blighted Texas motel and that area is up and coming and in JP. Easy access to all areas road wise with little traffic. Very close to old Metairie Rd.

Was that ever confirmed about Chick Fil A?
I know it was mentioned as a rumor several times

mean, that's not a great area they're moving to either.

That’s an up & coming part of old Metairie. I’m sure their development will help too
