Why isn't this coming from the Vatican?
It's like insurance companies, they love to take it and ask for more but when any portion of it needs to be dished out its like pullin teeth

If they hadn’t tried to cover it up and just defrocked, kicked out, and helped to prosecute the sick fricks, I would be ok with donating because every organization has bad apples. But to hide pedophilia? Nah, I’m good.

Not only hide it but facilitate it. Moving known sexual predators from parish to parish, knowing that they would just a sexually abuse innocent children again and again and again. How fricking sick is that? What kind of religion sanctions such behavior? It's pure evil.

Why not sell the jewelry that has accumulated for two+centuries. You know, that women donated to the church upon their deaths, that was then transformed into opulent jewelry for the Blessed Mother statues? That is a part of the already belongings of the church and IMO doesn't make the Madonnas more holy nor does it affect people's prayers. I know this exists because of an exhibit at the New Orleans Museum of Art thirty some years ago where a Madonna was so wrapped in jewels that she was barely visible.
The exhibit may have been called Treasures of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Let the archdiocese go bankrupt. Move the parishes to another archdiocese like the BR one

2/3 of the parishes in the Archdiocese are running on fumes. This will be paid mostly by parishes like St Catherine and Holy Name.
My curiosity lies in the required Parish bankruptcies.
How does that affect currently and future financed construction projects?

The Archdiocese probably has enough real estate to do land swaps and give every victim a free house.
“Well Braxxten, since the Priest raped and sodomized you we are going to give you a NEW HOUSE! Tell him about it Johnny.”

Protestants have a bigger problem according to insurance companies having to pay for these claims, which has included large claims against Southern Baptists and Methodists. Mormons and Jewish religious leaders have also been exposed for child sex abuse.
And they don’t have to worry about any money being donated by the Bank of Martini.

If you're looking for a real answer, a lot of donation gifts like that are heavily, heavily regulated with what the church can do with them. If you donate items and say what usage you want, they are kind of forced to use it for that usage.

Bingo! Real reason is that since religion is a money/control entity, just like the government they answer to, the lowest on that pole pays the fines, bills and debts!

Most lawyers are scum. Imagine taking 20%+ from rape and molestation victims.

Not only lacking intelligence but also critical thinking and actual information. But that is what you get with people that have an axe to grind.
