Lol wut
How'd we go from something that's a basic common decency like walking 20 feet to put your cart away, to forcing people to wear something they don't agree with?
It's not like putting your cart where it belongs is some controversial political/social cause, it's just common decency. And last time I checked, Cart Narcs aren't forcing anyone to do anything. They're simply pointing out individuals that have no common decency, and it's always the individuals that escalate it 1000x further.
Notice you don't see videos where the "perp" simply just laughs and says something like "yeah you got me, I'll put it back. My bad." It's always the ones being called out that overreact and escalate, because deep down they know what they did wasn't right and doesn't fit in with a decent society.
It's something extremely simple and arbitrary, but it's a snapshot of society as a whole. Putting a cart away so it doesn't damage a stranger's vehicle or cause anyone else to go out of their way is a very simple test of someone's character and morality in society. Seeing how they react to being called out for their laziness and selfishness is a much bigger test.

Probably most of the people he does this to laugh him off and drive away. I wonder how many instigations he has to create before someone does something YouTube worthy. If someone comes up to me with a camera in a parking lot I’m laughing him off and driving away because I’m not talking to a freak I don’t know in a parking lot.

Pretty sure this is an episode of Seinfeld.
And yes, normal and decent citizens are being harassed daily to support dumbass causes. What rock have you been under?

have never understood why people care. Never in my life has a stray buggy caused me even minor inconvenience.
A stray cart that was aided by wind and a slight decline slammed into my tailgate. Left a scratch and slight dent. My tailgate has been replaced days earlier after I was rear ended at an intersection.
Yeah, I was pissed.

Stores literally have people whose job it is to go collect carts.
This is such a shitty, entitled, and selfish take on this.
Are those cart corralers going to sprint out into the parking lot and dive in front of your brand new car (the one you work your arse off to pay for, and also pay for the insurance) to stop a cart that's rolling across the lot from slamming into it?
I had a brand new Challenger once, not even a month old when I was at Wal-Mart and a cart had apparently slammed into it with enough force to leave a 6" vertical scratch and dent on the rear quarter panel. When I got out of the store the cart was still right there up against my pride and joy, and I don't know if I've ever been more pissed off.
That shite was expensive as hell to get fixed, as the panel was solid all the way to the roof and up to the A-pillar. I had to go out of my way to make the insurance claim, pay the deductible, take time off work to take my car to a body shop, pick up a rental, drop off the rental, and have someone give me a ride to pick up my car.
All because some lazy fat piece of shite couldn't take 30 seconds to walk 20 steps to put their cart in the corral like a decent human. I was, and still am, livid over it. I hope karma bit that person in the arse so hard.

Granted I bring my cart back to the thing I did today across Walmart’s parking lot on O’Neal I had to go coast to coast through that bitch bc there was 17 people in line at the self checkout and like 3 actual associates checking out at registers out of 30. You know how it is.
I just don’t like how annoying that kid is with his light wand
In 90 plus percent of cases a cart out loose doesn’t promote any problems of any measurable level in the grand scheme of things. Sometimes folks have 9 minutes to be somewhere and every second counts. Not terribly hard to understand

If you watch all his videos you actually do.

He* is fine to point it out, but his continue pursuit of them is overboard. Especially knowing he has pissed them off by throwing a magnet on their car.

He shouldn’t chase them down after they take off the magnet he put on their car. And yes, he does this. And them tossing it back at him is them not accepting his crap. Especially after they tell him not to do it. He should be responsible for it.
Who is he or you to be the judge of morality and people’s reasonings? If we are judging then I don’t think it’s right to continue to harass someone who is upset. That’s cool you enjoy it, because you consider them lazy. I don’t think anyone should be throwing shite on others vehicles. Especially after being told to stop.
He doesn’t work for these businesses. As you see in the videos anytime manager or the police are called he bounces.
Decent people know the reasonings for putting a cart back. That’s well understood. I still don’t think it’s right to after their cars when they are trying to drive away. That is absolutely asking for a justified arse beating.

He had several videos of this.
I agree. People aren’t considering they don’t know this guy’s intentions. They support him, because they know him from youtube and like what he is about. However, every day people don’t know this freak. He’s a dude who doesn’t represent the companies he visits and he is throwing crap on people’s cars as they attempt to leave.
I don’t wish harm on anyone, but he deserves it when he doesn’t stop.

My parents at Rouses just text me this
So they cool with carts pretty close to the handicap parking and at the front of the store. Interesting.
However, my dad was pretty pissed about this earlier at Wal-Mart.
He would love a cart narc to handle this.

You used the cart. Just put it back where it belongs when your done with it.

You clearly feel very passionate about defending the cart abandoners and lazy folk, and I agree that he does take it too far with the magnets at times when people are asking him to stop.
But I WISH I could've simply asked the lazy a-hole that left their cart to the whims of the wind in the Wal-Mart parking lot if they could stop it and put their cart away. I - and numerous others - aren't given that choice when their laziness costs us time and money by damaging things we work hard to pay for.
It says a lot about society when you could save a stranger the headache and cost of having body work done by taking 20 steps and using 30 seconds to put away your cart, but you still choose not to. That is laziness, entitlement, and selfishness personified.
Your 30 seconds of effort could save someone a day or two of running a car to the body shop, picking it up, and picking up/dropping off rentals, and money spent on a deductible. But to some people, their 30 seconds and 20 steps are more important apparently; that, or they just don't stop to consider anyone other than themselves or the potential consequences of their laziness on someone else, which is even worse.

So you are selfish, lazy and a terrible manager of your time.
Even if it only causes a problem 10% of the time (it's more than that) it's still a selfish and lazy thing to do.
Have some decency and respect for others around you.
