Its just going to be the same group of dirty geriatrics with TDS who do this every few weeks in Covington. Its makes them feel "brave" to wave signs in a deep red town, they are just not brave enough to live south of the lake. At the end of the day they are goofy and harmless with too much time on their hands.

One of the defining moments of my relationship with my MIL was when I told her to go wait in the waiting room and I would come get her when everyone was settled. We have had an “understanding” regarding boundaries ever since.

I have the 36" 4 burner. Had it two years. Love it.
BUT, you need to maintain it after every cook. If you do not, you will come back to a big slab of rust next weekend.
This doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you are hammered and slinging smashburger's, fajitas and whatever, the last thing in the world you want to do is clean and oil the damn thing but you have to force it, especially on the big model.
Also recommend getting the grill matt. This helps alot.

My fiance's dad had 100% disability until this year for exposure to Agent Orange after he developed cancer from the exposure.
It was reduced to 40% without much explanation.
I thought after a certain amount of time (5 yrs?) it could not be reduced, only increased.

One thing you can be 1000% sure of is that a parasite like Jay Laneau doesn’t give a rats arse about how much you pay for insurance.
Private company passes their costs on to their customers. That, plus sports and weather coming up.

Bottom line: Jeff Landry is not actually conservative. I supported him for governor because I believe he was a good Attorney General and had high hopes for him as governor. I was wrong to have had faith in him

re: Auto Board - question about seller's disclosure obligations
Posted by DevilDagNS on 4/22/25 at 3:49 pm
Are you serious with this?
Well they did. They gave you pictures and apparently that is all you require to make a purchase like this. Its a used car that you bought sight unseen (at least in person).
Zero.

So I guess my question here is are they obligated to make it right? Do they legally have to disclose any damage at the time of sale?

re: What's your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?
Posted by DevilDagNS on 4/22/25 at 7:02 am
As an ISTJ (Logistician), you are the backbone of society, embodying reliability, practicality, and unwavering dedication. Your meticulous nature and strong sense of duty make you an indispensable force in both personal and professional spheres. You approach life with a clear set of principles, valuing tradition, structure, and well-defined expectations.
Your strength lies in your ability to create order from chaos, methodically organizing information and resources to achieve tangible results. You excel at maintaining systems and following through on commitments, often becoming the person others turn to when they need something done right. However, your preference for established methods can sometimes make you resistant to change, even when adaptation might be beneficial.

Also, don't ever try to pull a vehicle out using a trailer hitch.
Father Killed in Off-Road Recovery

Father Killed in Off-Road Recovery
quote:
While many of us have likely made a recovery with a similar set-up, what happened next on that July afternoon is exactly why utilizing proper equipment is so important. After looping that chain through the recovery points on the front of the Woods’ truck, the tow strap was then attached to the assisting truck’s ball hitch. After a couple of short tugs proved unsuccessful at moving the drowned Super Duty, the pair of wheelers decided a running start was in order to break the truck free. The added stress brought on by this running start proved to be too much for the drop hitch intended for towing, shearing it off the truck in the process. The energy still built up within the static strap sent that large chunk of metal flying back towards the Woods' vehicle, where it would enter the windshield on the driver’s side. The hitch would smash through with such force that it broke the top half of the steering wheel before coming in contact with Ryan. The father of three died instantly according to his wife, with his three children behind him in the back seats, unfortunately bearing witness to the whole ordeal.
