Our local store employs disabled people intentionally and pieces of dog shite like the ones in the videos STILL can’t even put them in the cart corral

This is a terrible way to look at being courteous to others.

Places of business always have someone who will clean up after you, but it doesn't make you less of a turd if you're intentionally leaving things for that person to clean up.

Plus, the cart corrals are not there for the employee to place carts into. They're there for customers to leave their carts, and for the employees to come collect. Otherwise they wouldn't exist.

Right and stores have janitors but you don't intentionally piss on the floor or throw your used toilet paper on the ground

He kind of has to be a jerk to get his point across. Also, he stays very calm through the whole thing which I think angers the people more.

My store doesn't have cart corrals (small store), and the vast majority of the shoppers are elderly, so I am slightly more understanding when I see them in the parking lot.

But if I see a perfectly able bodied person doing it while I'm parking/walking in, I make a whole show of grabbing their cart and bringing it in with me Eye contact is the farthest it goes, though. I would never do what the guy in these videos is doing.

I'm pretty ok with all they're doing until they start slapping the magnetic stickers on the cars. That crosses a line for me.

And they need a new schtick - the "fairy" aspect belongs to Jackass' meter fairy. Be more original.

I or my wife return my cart 90ish % of the time. Pretty rare not to.

I just don't see a big deal for those who don't.

If everyone returned their cart, you're putting people out of a job. So I guess us that do it are the selfish ones, if you think about it.

I’m sure someone has said it by now, but this bit is associated with The Woody Show, morning radio show.

There are a few videos he has without using the magnets and he is just ignored 100%. Again, he has to be a little extreme to get people's attention. I bet you several people thought about him each time they went shopping well after their run-in with him. Had he not used the magnet, then it would be quickly forgotten.

Not true. Again, their job is to get the carts from the cart return. Not to collect from all over the parking lot.

Humans helping humans. What a concept.

I'm comfortable with my level of cart GAFness. I do care and way more often than not get it right.

Except for Walgreens. I feel really bad about that one. They don't have paid cartboys and only about 3% of the time am I bringing that thing all the way back into the store. But I do feel really bad about it.

If everyone returned their cart, it takes less time for them to get them from cart return and bring them in, therefore taking less people to do the job.

You're a very selfish person returning your cart every time. We have to keep our employment numbers up and less people on the government dole, you commie.

I mean, not really. In most stores, the cart people also bag groceries, do the re-shops, and help with general stock tasks.

Walmart is about the only one where the cart people are only cart people. At my store, a cashier has to turn off their lane to go collect carts. Sure, it isn't a huge deal and it is part of their job, but I imagine it sucks.

Plus, "everyone returning their cart" would never be a reality since we have so many people who can barely move their bodies in this country. The least we able bodied people can do is help our fellow man out by taking care of our own messes.

Will watch tonight! I put the cart back 100% of the time.

Its one of my biggest pet peeves...that and people who walk past the dish washer to put a dirty dish in the sink.

I'm just fricking around.

I return my cart the vast vast majority of the time (I really can't think of the last time I did not), but I seriously do not see the big deal for those who don't. Certainly not enough to harass people that do not.

I’ve always believed that it should be legal for stores to be allowed to put snipers on top of their roofs and shoot anyone who can’t walk a cart back to the corral.

Not returning carts is my pet peeve so I really thought I would really side with the cart narc a lot more. However, after watching the videos, I find him to be as giant a douche as those that are too lazy to return the carts.
