I’ve toured the Blue Ghost twice but need to go again. You can spend all day touring the carrier.
I believe the USS Texas is nearing completion and will be docked next to the MSC and RC cruise terminals in Galveston. The Cavalla and Stewart are in Seawolf Park there in Galveston too. You should make a day trip and visit all three.

Have you read the recent one his son Henry wrote? It’s all material that was edited out of Sledge’s original manuscript due to length, but it still adds plenty substance to his story. I found it fascinating to say the least.

The Palau island chain includes the islands Ngesebus and Peleliu. I only know of them from Eugene Sledge’s war memoir.

Personally, I wouldn’t get one since it’s at your residence. It’s code to have one at your commercial establishment. Our company tests hundreds of BFPs every year (firewater, domestic, and pvbs for irrigation) at businesses but never at someone’s house.

I was ten years old visiting my grandma and it was immaculate. The local news station put out a book of sent in photos and titled it the South Texas snow miracle or something like that.
