Cancelling Disney Trip Due to Reopen Restrictions

We were booked to go first week of September, but the face coverings requirement for all guests got me to tap out. My 4 year old won't do it, my almost-70 year old mother can't do it and be in 90+ degree heat. Hard to justify paying what you've got to pay under those conditions.
Anyone else doing the same thing? Is anyone gutting it out?

They're not gonna hardball a bunch of toddlers about wearing masks. These restrictions are feel good stuff to get the governor to let them open. I'd just bring some masks in case you have to have them at the gate.

No way we would go if we have to wear masks. Way too hot and would ruin the experience IMO.

We’re looking to plan our trip for the annual Louisiana takeover during Mardi Gras. It’ll be our first trip. Hopefully by then, things will have calmed down.
