How can anyone sit through nine innings of this? Holy God
I've found that in the circumstances in our area at least (NE Louisiana), if you or your kid want to develop as baseball players in any meaningful way beyond coach pitch age, tournament ball is the way to go.

I've seen that in the rec leagues, the type of volunteer coaches you get more often than not can't even teach what would be considered basic baseball for a kid 9 years old and up (backing up throws, base running, pitching/catching, etc.). Not their fault, they're stepping up for the kids that have signed up. But, they can't coach baseball.

We found a team that allows time for the kids to play all the other fall and winter sports, only requires a spring time commitment with a few loose practices in the fall just to stay acclimated. Played in 8 tournaments within 100 miles from home from early March - mid May then called it a season.

My son loves football, basketball, etc. so this arrangement really worked for us and we will continue with this team next year.

Very few political ideas are original, first of all.

Secondly, the guy is saying the "quiet part out loud", which I think will be the basis of a lot of successful political campaigns for the foreseeable future. Americans, meaning regular folks, are sick of traditional politicians being traditional politicians are most people can now see right through that.

And yes, there are plenty of "regular folks" in California. They're just politically muzzled as the loud, extreme left dominates the conversation.
I’ve never thought about the fact that he’s never invited to guest on many shows or otherwise given his flowers for being a vet in the business like much of the older guard.

Otherwise, I’ve never taken huge issue with his opinions until recently. He’s definitely an old man yelling at clouds and just can’t accept where college sports are in 2026.
Any lyrical songwriter will tell you that a song can only go so far without a singer and a proper delivery.

Go get rich yourself if these guys are no different than AI. It must be more than simple enough to pull off.
If the ability to sing a song in a way that makes people buy it, want to hear it, want to hear you sing it live, etc. so much that you get 50+ number one hits means nothing and whether you wrote the song means everything, then yes.

NYT app main page has no mention of Pretti until 2 stories from the bottom now. And it’s about the new footage.

This guy will disappear from the narrative overnight.

LSU Spring Game - Gameday Experience

Posted by lpgreat1 on 1/18/26 at 1:07 pm
I am one of likely many thinking of attending the spring game for the first time this year.

What is the day like on campus and around Tiger Stadium for a spring game? Similar to a Saturday or just some tailgating until game time?
HB was one of the most electric, must-watch, anything can happen at any time on both defense and ST players maybe in college football history. At least in recent decades. JD5 was special and deserving of the Heisman but HB’s uniqueness is sort of untouchable.

Lane would fire his arse immediately and certainly not let him coach the bowl game if he strong armed him like that. Plus, I always thought Frank and Lane had a good relationship.

re: If rumor is true about Frank..

My guess is Frank doesn’t know what his position will be next year. He’s answering truthfully in that regard when asked by recruits. And those he’s recruited and are close to may be waiting it out instead of signing tomorrow.

I’d bet that’s the closest to the truth in this.

Is Klatt trolling?

With this OSU suck off he’s performing on this broadcast? You can hear him pausing to come up with another way to restate how in love he is with them. Awful broadcast.
Of course it is. He made a deal to not announce anything until tomorrow so he’s gotta make it seem like he’s still undecided.
Since Friday, all we’ve heard is internet speculation. Nothing close to confirmed new news on the LK front. This tells me a decision was made a week ago, communicated to OM, and the agreed upon plan is being executed for this week into Saturday.

Obviously good if you want LK at LSU. Nothing else makes much sense, given what little we have heard from the OM Chancellor, players, etc. Now, LSU supporters’ only slight concern is the “what if”, especially with other jobs being filled this week.

I think this has been the issue all along. How he continues to coach, and for how long, while also taking the LSU job. Plus the OM coaching search aspect as well.

That statement says it all….

If he’s staying at OM, you just announce it. Even if details aren’t final.

This is to keep things together to finish the season. He’s leaving.
All kinds of hype on the interwebs as this being one of the albums of the year, decade, etc. Cameron Winter continuing his year as the new prince of Indie. This is set up to top a lot of lists in December.

Spent a lot of time with this record over the weekend. And yes it lives up to the hype. Sounds like a lot of classic material and also like nothing I’ve ever heard before at the same time. Another great record from this band that will hopefully be around for a long time to come.

Geese - Taxes

Grew up idolizing Ryno. WGN every afternoon as a kid it seemed. Losing him and Hulk so close really signifies so much of my childhood. Tough week
New album is very good. I dig the Kristen Stewart song but most of the album are more traditional LH style tunes. Great listen all the way through.
