don't cancel. if there are masks at disney, 95% of them will be on the ground, not on faces.

I went to Disney in mid July when I was a kid.
You're lucky that you found a way out.

You should thank Wuhan for getting you out of this.

We are trying to reschedule our trip that was supposed to happen at the first of this month. We probably won’t go till next spring but talking to Disney about tickets and they were dicks about it. We tried to ask if they were any ideas when they might open because we didn’t know when to reschedule and the guy said he didn’t know but we have the till the end of the year to use the tickets. If we waited till next year we would have to pay the extra if they had any price increase they may have or if the days we picked were in a higher price time than what we had for this year. Also carrying 2 year old at the time that turns 3 this weekend. Was going to be free at the time but now they said she will have to buy a ticket.

We are planning to go in April, but if there are mask requirements, we are cancelling.

Going to Disney World in the summer sounds miserable.
Having to wear a mask the whole time sounds miserable.
Forcing a 4 year old to wear a mask the whole time is ludicrous.
I would also be canceling that trip.
That said, I highly doubt they would be really stringent about the kid wearing a mask. We took my 2 year old to the zoo here two weeks ago when they opened... everyone was supposed to be wearing masks but they didn't even question him not wearing one. And then once we were inside at least half the adults were removing their masks as well. No one cared.

Yes, please update on Travel board ( I check on there daily for trip updates). My family and I are going to Disney/ Universal/ Busch Gardens at the end of July. I am curios as to how the parks will handle this situation,

We had a trip for July 19-25, which would be week two of the reopen. In addition to the mask, just getting into the park seemed like it would be a shite show. I doubt FP+ will be in use during the first phase of opening. Additionally, no characters, fireworks, and very reduced park hours makes it a easy choice to not make the trip this year.

I’m still confused how the fatsos are supposed to waddle through the facility double fisting and gorging on turkey legs like Linda Lovelace all with a mask on?

Hold off on cancelling until you see how the changes are introduced. People went to Disney Springs and had their masks around the necks, etc and no one from Disney was hassling them. I would be more concerned about limits on rides and restaurants.
We were supposed to go in June so we didn’t have a choice but I’d probably cancel, too, if I saw the changes were going to be strictly enforced. Next year is WDW’s 50th anniversary so they’ll do lots of special stuff and it will be a great time to go. Disney gave me full refunds on everything, by the way.
I’m still trying to come up with a Plan B.

You might get some ice cream bars

Orlando in September is reason enough to cancel. The mask issue was just piling on.
I have been to Disney twice. The first time was at the end of July. I said then, "Never again."
The second time was in early September, which was even worse. The next trip, I just opted out.

Why would you book a Disney trip in September. What a random arse month. If you’re not going to do it during the traditional school summer of June through August pick a month when it’s cooler.
