I was in that exact same spot but behind that car turning left. THere was a beggar there asking everyone for money and i just kept my window up and ignored him. Right before the light turned, an EBRP Sheriff deputy pulled up quick as shite turning into the plaza and stopped and grabbed him. Scared the absolute shite out of me because I thought the cop was coming after me for some reason. I just about shite my pants.

Speaking of Walgreens, the one by me plays extremely loud classical music on outdoor speakers to keep the bums away. It works pretty good too. If they are ever there bothering people, they aren't there for long.

I give them little packs of ketchup and mustard. That way when they get the food they are looking for they already have the condiments.

This has happened to me multiple times w/ different scammers. I always tell them I don't have any cash, but that if they meet me at the gas station, I can fill up their car with my card. They get all excited and I say, "OK just meet me at such-and-such gas station" (whatever the closest one is) and they hurry off. Then I get in my car and haul arse. frick 'em.

Yeah I used to always just say I had no cash. But, a little over a year ago I told one that and he whipped out the Square card reader thing that you can put on your phone. Told him I didn't trust that type of stuff to not steal my info and to get lost.
So now, it's just a quick "no" from me. Put my head down and get my hands ready to reach for the holster and get to the store or my car as quickly as possible. frick em.

You guys ever have a person on ebt offer to buy your groceries for half price? Guy offered it to me but I declined and guy had a swollen black eye so he was prob hard up on cash. I kinda was regretting not doing it, lol

Had 2 blacks guys beg for gas money last night here in Houston. Turns out when I was leaving I watched one swipe a card and get gas. I simply tell them I'm poor and cant afford to give them anything. Works pretty well. They dont have a comeback for that

I am amazed at how many people there are in Lafayette and Baton Rouge trying to get to NOLA without gas maney. It's like an epidemic.
