I get actual advertisements from Meta on my Facebook feed saying how beneficial the Meta data centers are for Louisiana.

That alone makes me suspicious.

I dont know if you are being sarcastic or not, but I do appreciate the balance of a woman taking care of the kids, packing, etc while I focus on work.

I have the resiliance of plowing through technical work 8 hours a day and dealing with all the BS, but have little patience to make sure the kids are all set with their litle needs and wants.

So Im happy paying the bills while she takes care of all that

That makes sense, but the center of circulation doesnt even visually appear to be under Biloxi if you look at that radar image Northendzone just posted.

I'm not doubting the accuracy, just saying this storm's mapped center appears far off than the area where center circulation visually appears

Not trying to be political, it does seem society took a quicker nosedive in the early 2010's and signficantly dropped after Covid.

Life has become so fast paced and ADD. We're always connected, getting pinged constantly by notifications, messages, calls, emails that people dont take the time to slow down and savor the moment they're in.

It's a constant dopamine drive of social media reactions, porn accessible at your fingertips, games scientifically built to suck you in...

It's only going to get worse the more things advance. I'd love to move out to the country and be on my own with the land, away from all the frantic chaos of society.
