Anyone in Oak Hills have eyes on the ground? I’m just sitting here anticipating a message from my alarm system that power is back but if anyone is there to see if they’re almost done that would be cool. Once they get down to the final terminations at those transformers I don’t think we’ll be far off.

Me too. Hoping it turns Inniswold green soon. No work being done for 3 days. Thought we all will turn green at once

Can you see if the work crew is on any of the final steps? I can tell we don’t have power because my alarm system hasn’t pinged me yet but wondering if they look close and it will be today.

I’m at my in-laws and will just stay here tonight. Gonna watch the game here.

Y’all let us know if Oak Hills lights up tonight, please!

They must be doing something in Oak Hills. I’m off Burbank/Bluebonnet and power has been off and on all day.

Oh they definitely are working in Oak Hills. We’ve been watching for two days.

Where is the Wiener substation?

Millbrook’s power is still out and everyone around us has power. I went by the substation I thought was Weiner and the transmission line where I went was fixed according to the lineman I talked to.

I called DEMCO. We are on the Terrell substation

I just did a drive around. No one working in the neighborhood, and everything looks good to go. No one working at the substation, but there are guys there in the trucks. Hopefully they are waiting for something??? {Fingerscrossed}

I believe someone at Entergy doesn't know West from East. Goodwood is West of Sherwood Forest and Shenandoah is definitely not in West Baton Rouge.

What a fricking incompetent company.

I talked to a lineman out there and he said all the work by the lake is done so if the crew up front is also done then they just need the go-ahead from Entergy.

I saw an Entergy truck and asked the guy, “I’ll be really quick, do you think y’all will energize tonight?” And he said “probably.”

I’m feeling good about our chances because if the crew has all the work done and the lines are clear I don’t see why they would go another night without powering up.

Interesting. My street in Jefferson Terrace is still showing red. I wonder if my power is on? I guess will check in morning.

I’m on that circuit too. Been blipping all day. It comes off Burbank, Oak Hills comes off those elevated lines that run all the way down Highland. I’ve had a lot of chance to study those grids during previous extended outages.

I did learn something though. Went to take a ride to see why we kept blipping (trying to get a visual on trucks in the area). Whipped into Racetrack because there were a couple of open pumps. Little girl was out walking around telling us that there’s a 30 minute lockout (safety) feature on the pumps. I asked if that meant they hadn’t sold much today and she said correct. Smh

Still nothing off of Kenilworth. The houses across the street have power. Our side of the street is an island of red, now surrounded by a sea of green.

I wonder if we count as Perkins Corridor or Highland Corridor.

And as I type this, we're green on the map... With no electricity.

Eta: Power came on as soon as I hit submit. I knew we'd get it back today, as we'd just managed to find a window unit to borrow.
