Stolen valor is a crime. She needs to be charged, prosecuted and punished.

Doesnt matter....she meets the requirement the majority of EBR voters are looking for.

To make a long story short, the Louisiana Supreme Court can remove her from the bench.

I don’t see how they don’t after lying on a police report. .

ETA: wait confusing her with another 19th judge that’s also under investigation.

I’ll admit I voted for her
The choice was her or another female democrat judge. My reasoning was picking the lesser of the 2 evils, I thought maybe as a veteran she would have some respect for the laws of the country she fought for.

It will never happen again, I will just skip D only ballots in the future.

I’m in Central, not that it makes a huge difference

That doesn’t even count her crazy attempt to reverse a verdict in that one case.

That was Eboni Johnson Rose. This is a different judge in the 19th. Also not to be confused with Gail Horne Ray, another female 19th JDC judge also under investigation for misconduct and blatantly not following the law.

The voters of EBR are just the best.

This story is a sham. She’s speaking her truth and identifies as a military veteran.

That makes perfect sense, given the choices you had, with the information you knew at the time.

The sad part is that, unlike in a community with a reasonably intelligent voting bloc, nothing will come from this.

Ok….now…what are they going to do about it? And if nothing, why even print this in the news?

And while she later became a first lieutenant in the Army Reserve, her honorable discharge in 2010 was “as a result of being twice nonselected for promotion to the rank of captain,” according to the Judiciary Commission.

How big of a shite bag do you have to be to get passed up twice and then asked to leave the reserves during a time of war.

She’s one of two Baton Rouge judges that will may get disciplined or possibly get removed from the bench in the coming year or two.

Its like that movie Catch me if you Can, except Disney changed the character to a black female. That guy also became a judge in Louisiana at one point.

Who would've thought that stolen valor would've been the least of her worries. Now obviously lying about that is big but lying about that car break in to police is bigger.

It's worth scrutiny given her other lies.
