A different style with the same paradigm. There is no decisive victory without taking your enemies capital and overthrowing his government. War is politics by other means. We are on the escalation ladder with Iran by sending ground troops to the region right now.

I think he's right about the "smart bomb trap" and the idea that we can just precision bomb a country into submission until they decide to play nice. It rarely works. The Trump administration has to play to the American public and elections in November. Iran has to play for time. Iran is fighting back the most it can right now so how long can they keep it up? As long as companies are afraid to send their ships through the Strait of Hormuz Iran has a huge bargaining chip. If a US pilot gets shot down over Iran and captured Iran has more bargaining chips.

Some advice? Watch out for the speed trap on 112 at the edge of town where it drops to 35 mph. I got popped there a decade ago during Christmas time.
