If you thought college sports was getting bad, PE will throw gasoline on the dumpster fire. Colleges that cant afford to compete in the new era will sell out to PE and theyll bleed it dry for every penny.

I agree with you, but would also add 99% of the new sports collectors that started since covid are also just in it to flip. Its kind of annoying for a long term collector but it did bring back a lot of card shows, so not all bad.

Its pretty telling that this guy can get 40 million in gold bars before anybody even misses it. CIA probably has all kinds of off the books expenses that just end up stolen and nobody knows to look for it. Cant audit anything in the name of national security and all that.

This is what people fail to understand…A cash grab isn’t always good for players. They’re usually making short sighted decisions based on NIL instead of what’s best for long term . Similar to the Fernando Tatis jr fiasco.

Yep. The smart move has been for high schoolers to sign at a smaller school where they will be a day 1 starter. Then transfer to a better program . And then do it again and again.
It’s a terrible system that isn’t good for anyone except players and agents to get a quick cash grab.

Honest answer? It’s because the country has lower expectations for blacks. Then you get easier qualifications, special exceptions, unwarranted praise, less accountability, etc .
