To me this debate is a waste of time. You are arguing with literally the most irrational people ever

Apply for a job as a white male with the federal government and get back to me about that "white privilege". You better be Superman or applying for a job with little competition. Otherwise, any minority, woman, or veteran is going to get preference points, while you get nothing.

Not saying there is anything wrong with that, it's just the way it is. Probably has a lot to do with the government historically being the "old white men's club", but it's ridiculous when someone can get a job because they are a black woman, regardless of whether they are the best candidate or not.

I've dealt with all sorts of government workers, and this policy will be the damnation of the government because they have a knack for hiring crappy workers.

Close. I got accepted to a state dental school. Pretty much the same situation. I was essentially competing against all of the other white males applying since every school has to meet their diversity quota. I can definitely understand the frustration there and I don't really agree with the whole affirmative action situation.

Also, some of the people that throw WHITE PRIVILEGE to your face everywhere you go have some terrible excuses... Like the link in the video a few posters before me. Claimed that band-aids only come in white people colors. Stuff like that is obviously shite.

All that I am saying is that because white's are the majority, we live in a country that tends to cater towards whites. And all the way in to the 70s or so there was obviously some seriously overt racism. Surely some of that culture bias has leaked and been passed down to further generations, and it's that bias that needs to be addressed.

I'm a politically conservative white male. About as far from liberal as you can be, I'm just trying to give a group of people asking for help the benefit of the doubt.

I think if you have a toss up (equal on paper) between a white male and a black female, I don't see an issue with giving the nod to the minority, or the vet, or the woman when we are talking about government jobs. At that point, the preference points break the tie. Some might not like it, but I known some lazy white guys that have worked for the government too.

White privilege is a made up term by the MSM and BLM. It doesn't exist. It's like bigfoot.
