I wanted the SEC championship bad. Pretty disappointed. It is what it is.
Good take. I’m still very happy with Elko overall, but A&M was out coached yesterday. Very timid and conservative play calling, when we have been pretty aggressive all year. The very act of trying not to give up big plays ended up giving up big plays.
A&M is okay. They are very streaky. I think they could pull off a run in the playoffs or lose first round. Just depend on which team shows up.

You guys are harsh. I’m by no means saying A&M is some elite team, but they went 11-1. No 11-1 SEC team should miss the playoffs, no matter which SEC teams they played.

Honestly, most Aggies haven’t been beating their chests, so this trope is tired. We’ve were just happy to be undefeated. Now we lost and all we can do is hope for a run in the playoffs.

A&M definitely benefitted from a softer schedule this year and Texas improved drastically over the course of the season. Glad this game is back.
Yeah it’s really gonna blow if we lose this one Texas, miss the SEC championship, and then lose first round in playoffs.
