In a way, I see this as a sad reflection of the younger generations of college football audiences. They’re shallow, superficial zombies who live on social media and want instant gratification. They want as much stimulatory overload as possible. This is a way for the corporate powers to capitalize on that
I don’t necessarily disagree, but another part is the profit obsessed boomers and Gen X that will do anything to make more money.

When they play Texas I will be torn on who I want to lose more. Texas and LSU losing is all I have this season…

re: A&M Fans: Do you really want to fire Elko?

I don’t. It’s honestly absurd the amount of people that want to fire coaches at the first sign of trouble. Elko has shown signs of being a good coach. As an A&M fan, I’m not expecting a dynasty. Give me 8-10 win seasons and eventually one could pop and we win it all. Just one in my lifetime would be awesome.
re: Chips are down: What's the next storyline in the conference?

A&M is not going to the playoffs this year.

It is Texas then UGA. Auburn has the next best win. Alabama has the next. Everyone else has played a HS schedule
Not saying A&M are world beaters, but their win over Arizona State is a much better win than Baylor.
College football is in shambles

Is anyone else a little checked out? All this drama is entertaining in its own way I suppose, but I am genuinely disappointed in college football at this point. It’s just been a mess since NIL/portal madness and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. I’m sure I’ll continue to watch because it’s football, but it’s sad to see.
Honestly probably the exact opposite. Who’s gonna forget that freaking Indiana won a natty.

That was such a bad throw in that situation
Fun championship game!

If Miami has to kick he will miss. Looks flustered.
Decent drive so far
What an insane effort either way. Crazy.

Maybe targeting by the book, but no way a tackle like that should be a penalty.
Wow. Stockton made of steel.
