It's just a place where I can hang out and be me.

If you're a grown man, yes, this is somewhat pathetic.
And if you do have a problem with this it's probably because you like candles, Enya, and chevron pattern throw pillows. And the taste of semen.

I only have a seating area with leather bound books, a mahogany desk, and decanter set full or scotch and 20 year aged whiskey.
Is it still GAY or do I pass the MO jeaux test?
I didn't say "gay", I said somewhat pathetic. But that shouldn't stop you from doing so if it makes you happy.

Guys, it's OK. Enjoy your man caves. Own them. Just admit, though, that they represent that you've ceded the rest of your homes to the women in your lives. You know, happy wife, happy life, huh? It's not that you're unable or unwilling to stand up for yourself, it's just that you don't want to rock the boat.

My house is my man-cave.
She has a woman's cave. It's called the closet.

The guy that had to beg his wife to have a Nintendo game themed room of his own in their starter home is making fun of us real alphas that have welding rigs that cost more than his house

Some guys are perfectly happy sitting by their wives every night watching TV.
Other guys (where I fit in) also enjoy time alone working on things in a space they call their own.
There's not much that relaxes me more than watching or listening to some LSU sport while I mindlessly "work" on a car, bicycle, whatever in my garage, with an adult bev sitting on the counter.

I'm not married, but I see it more as I know that having three tvs and a dart board in my living room is trashy. I have a formal living room with just a couch with the pillows and shite and I have another living room upstairs where I have three tvs, a dart board, and an x box. Ones so I looked civilized when people come over, the other is to drink beer and watch football in.
Yes, subtle I have two living rooms brag

I wouldn't go so far as to call man caves pathetic. But the hidden truth is most man caves are overwrought with with electronics and often times present a major fire hazard because most houses were not wired to handle the load. Thankfully we banned man caves in my HOA a couple of months ago after yet another house fire.

Mo Jeaux we get it. Gays are different when it comes to the household. I salute you and your husband for not making barriers, but give us straight baws a break.
