Only thing I take exception to is the term “man cave”. It’s stupid.

Idk if it's a 'man cave' but my home office has all of my music equipment, computer, LSU and Saints memoribilia.. all of that stuff had to go somewhere and it's out of place if strewn about the house. Just works better that way. DGAF if it's pathetic, I like having my place to go. Makes it easier for quiet time.. wife gets to watch her trash TV, I get to go play games or guitar for a while.

This is why this message board sucks sometimes. You have poors calling things pathetic because they can’t afford them.

On a side note, I think private jets are pathetic. Me and the wife love to “share” the experience of sitting in coach.

Such sensitivity. I’ve obviously hit a sore spot. Grow from this.

Well, I guess we know which poster lives in a 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom 1 bath shotgun rental.

We can’t all live in a cookie cutter house in the southern suburbs that we’re struggling to pay for working the plant shift. If the man cave helps you kill the pain, enjoy. I’m not stopping you.

you didn't answer my question.

it's seems as though you think unless a man's house looks like a frat house, his wife has whipped him.

I have a room where i watch sports, have the pc, and it has a few Sports related items on the wall or on the desk.

It's sort of my room, as wife watches her shite shows in the living room.

I don't call it a man cave, just call it my room.

Why would an adult male’s house look like a frat house?

I don’t live in the burbs
I don’t have a cookie Cutter house. My house is 110 years old. I know. I hate it. Money pit
I don’t work in a plant
I don’t even have a man cave.

My house is set up and big enough so that if I want privacy I can have it. I don’t need a dedicated man cave. Every room in my house has a TV except the formal dining room.

But more power to the guys that have them. I think they are pretty cool.

it shouldn't. I'm exaggerating this dumb post of yours to show how dumb it is.

Just admit, though, that they represent that you've ceded the rest of your homes to the women in your lives. You know, happy wife, happy life, huh? It's not that you're unable or unwilling to stand up for yourself, it's just that you don't want to rock the boat.

you're saying they have a man cave because the rest of the house can't look that way. which is dumb, why would someone want an LSU poster in their living room?

Pretty much this. The kids have their TV/sun room

We have a community room connected to the kitchen that at anytime can be used by any of us

The. I have a den/living room separated from the rest where I spend most of my time when I’m watching movies or sports. I’m grateful to have options.

I get what you are saying.

But no.

My GF and I share the house too. I have an office that is basically mine to do whatever I want.

She got to decorate the kitchen how she wanted I got the office.

Rest of the house we both agreed upon.

It's good to have a place of your own as a guy to put up all your cool shite that is tacky anywhere else in the house.
