I worked about half a day yesterday and now I’m off until the first Monday in January. But with my job I’m sure I’ll still be getting calls and emails that will have to be addressed immediately so there’s that.

I got a work email this morning and let out a nice long string of profanity. Turns out it was a company wide Merry Christmas email

Checking in. Office is closed through the 4th, but my project so I’ll be everyday but Christmas and a couple of days around New Year’s Day catching up.

Off today, Presidential Executive Order giving government leeches the day off.
Next week will be interesting since the President vetoed the NDAA which pays my salary (civilian DoD leech). I may be out of work involuntarily.

Yup. This is my BIG day of the year.
-Have just over 1.6 billion deliveries to make tonight
-A Kagillion Cookies to eat and tha ‘Milk. Good Lawd all the milk I got to drink. I’m lactose intolerant and the caribou are scared of explosions so that’s not a good combo.
-The good thing is I get to see the World in 1 night. It’s a lot of travel but I keep my travel points and the Misses (no pics/they’re already all over the interwebs) and I usually get a free trip to the South Pole out of the deal each year.
Reminds me, I’ve not tried on my suit since COVID and I’ve put on a few pounds. SOB I hope it fits.

I just got home. I’m technically off on Christmas Eve but I go out and help a few guys in the market to help them get off sooner. Gotta lend a hand out there to get them to do extra for you.
