re: Need Info on TRT

I’m not very keen on needles
the key to making your peace with needles is to use small bore insulin syringes. When I first started TRT the doc I was using at the time prescribed a supply of syringes that were 21 ga. I used them twice before learning to switch to insulin syringes and now I use 29 or 30 (whatever's on sale and in stock at the time) gauge and can't even feel it.
That first doc tried to tell me that I couldn't draw from the vial with such a small bore - nonsense. It helps to warm the vial first since testcyp is suspended in oil, but it takes maybe 5 seconds to draw vs instantly with a bigger bore needle. That's negligible considering the benefits of the smaller bore.
re: Be honest - do you still support Trump?

Of course I still support President Trump, I'm not an idiot
re: Does your Southern Accent Come and Go?
Posted by Don Quixote on 4/11/26 at 12:41 pm to deeprig9
absolutely, I started losing mine when I began traveling a lot for work after graduation and more so when I moved out West. But it comes back when I'm back in the South visiting family. I've also told clients that are all from the South on web meetings that if my accent comes back I'm not mocking them or doing the mirror effect, it just comes and goes sometimes.

just the opposite - once they've crossed the line of this level of lunacy they should be publicly ridiculed to the point that they're driven back underground

I never cease to be amazed at the stupid shite people post online thinking someone actually cares what goes on in their demented minds or that it won't bite them in the arse

re: murderer of Iryna Zarutska ruled incompetent to stand trial

it's worth noting that this ruling is for the state charges, he also faces federal charges and President Trump has called for the death penalty for him

DeCarlos Brown Jr. has been found “incapable to proceed” on the state murder charge brought against him in the killing of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, according to court filings. Brown, a 35-year-old homeless man who previously told police he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, faces both state and federal murder charges in the August light rail stabbing of 23-year-old Zarutska. The results of his capacity evaluation were revealed in a motion his state public defender filed in Mecklenburg Superior Court on Tuesday.

re: Agree or disagree: Christoper Nolan is the most overrated director of the 21st century

don't know that I'd go full on "over rated" but I'm not in the camp that is immediately on board with any / everything he's attached to simply because Nolan is doing it.
re: Renovating Kitchen - What are some things you did, you wish you had done or not done
Posted by Don Quixote on 4/8/26 at 11:34 am to CatfishJohn
We reno'd our kitchen in the house we sold last year. The best thing we did was the granite counter tops which is absolutely worth the extra cost vs other materials we looked at. The one thing we wished we'd done differently was we had the existing cabinets resurfaced - it wouldn't have been much more $ to have all new cabinets instead. In our new home, the cabinets are all very nicely done with slide outs but it has Formica counter tops and I'm not looking forward to the cost of having them done in granite with today's prices but we will do it.
