I still haven't had someone tell me the benefits of raw milk that can't easily be derived elsewhere.

People drinking or eating raw anything aren't too bright. People started cooking and purifying what we eat and drink for a reason

The same with people going full anti-vax just because the covid vax was unnecessary for most people.

People today can’t handle real and fresh food. Most of what we eat are chemicals and toxins.

What about the cheese? European/French cheeses taste significantly better which I thought was because of non pasteurized dairy use. I’m I wrong? How to they avoid illness?

Well this is just a false and ignorant statement.

Wonder how many people get sick in Louisiana every day from food poisoning from other foods

Wonder if getting raw milk from a clean environment makes a difference on its cleanliness

Fresh milk contains:
- Lactobacillus (probiotic, aids digestion)
- Immunoglobulins (antibodies from cow, support immune system)
- Lactoferrin (antimicrobial, actually PREVENTS pathogen growth)
- Enzymes intact (aid nutrient absorption)

Pasteurization kills all of this.

Clean milk from clean cows is not going to be a problem. Quite the opposite, it has helped my digestion issues, also using it for making kefir.

I know of a two different groups of people who went out and ate seafood in large 10+ person parties. One group came down with horrible food poisoning where 2 or 3 of them had to go to the ER. Another group, ate raw oysters and all but one or two people in the party who didn't eat the oysters, came down with Hepatatis A, requiring medical care. Those are two instances from people I know over the last several years. So, think how common stories like this are. Yet, virtually no media coverage.

Lame that they are making this big an issue with some people getting sick from raw milk.

I mean. That is terrible but shite happens. People get ecoli and die from eating unwashed spinach and leafy greens, and even running a knife through and slicing an unwashed surface contaminated cantelope.

Life's a risk, carnal.

The people who became ill all reported consuming raw milk from three different milking operations in Louisiana.

Were they purposely trying to get sick?

I've only drank raw milk once and that was just a couple of years ago. I knew the source personally but would be very hesitant drinking from a source I didn't know.

Nobody wants to talk about all the sicknesses from eating grocery store produce and such every year, but raw milk bad. Think about all the recalls that make the news, but people (me included) still buy all that stuff. There’s risk in everything. If you don’t want raw milk, then don’t buy it.

Because every restaurant you go to that serves raw oysters has a warning on the menu about the dangers of eating raw or undercooked seafood. You have people pushing raw milk with no warning and saying anyone who says it has dangers are just brainwashed sheep.

For example, here is a clip of a popular social media influencer, Shannon Ford, who has about 500k followers, talking about how "her internal compass" tells her it is okay to drink raw milk (and eat sushi) while pregnant.

And most people's gut microbiome is sorely lackingin lactobacillus.
