Probably a bad landing after a lay-up/dunk.

Ehhhh Chris Paul and David West back in 2998 and 2009 were pretty reliable. Peja was hurt a lot with his back. But they did finish first in their division in 2007-2008.

He likely reaggravated it since he was so wanting to play in the AllStar game.

That is what makes this worse. Him stating he wanted to be ready to play in a freaking exhibition game.

This was the case when drafting Zion. Generational talent but you knew it’d come with injuries.

Was Zion injured this much in college? High school?

He did have a famous injury in college where his shoe exploded, but he still played 33 out of 38 games.

He only had one minor injury at duke.. he planted his foot and his foot actually broke his shoe and in the process he tweaked an ankle. Nothing near the issues he has now

Bern saying for a year now, I wouldn't even play this cat until March every year.

You're getting maybe 30 games on a good year it seems.

It’s common enough that SVG is tweeting about the abundance of hammy injuries is the
modern era.

He's tweeting about the percentage of setbacks? That was what was being discussed as common.

This makes the fact Zion was clowning on CJ for stretching even worse.

Hey fatboy...you have one job and that is to keep your body in shape.

Imagine being a 22 year old Adonis that simply can't stay healthy

I hope that video is a wake up call for him and BI. You have to do everything you can with all the freaking money in the world to keep your body in perfect condition. Stretching is a major role in that. A damn shame CJ was clowned.

Highest days missed for either if you exclude Ish Smith is 44 (Solomon Hill). Zion is going to blow the hinges off that number.

That link is incorrect and missing all kinds of examples. The last time another guy posted it, I immediately found 3 or 4 dudes over the past couple of years that missed a ton of time that was not accounted for.

I believe just this season Delon Wright missed a full 8 weeks if I'm not mistaken. But again, from previous seasons, there are quite a few others.

If it wasn't a hamstring it would've been something else eventually. Zion cannot stay healthy and we cannot continue to hitch our wagon to him.

Shamit had a pretty good point today.

His point was basically that if you are going to have two star players that are as unreliable as Zion and BI, we likely to need to focus future assets on one thing:

A dynamic creator at Guard. Someone like a Lillard is I assume what he means.

Its a Guard league, and if you have two stars missing a bunch of time, dynamic players like that can get you regular season wins by themselves with the other guys out.

Your defense will suffer but one thing at a time
