Teams take on the identity of the HC. It's the case in every sport at every level. Moore might be a good dude but his soft, quiet demeanor is giving way to a mentally soft football team. Loomis hasn't made things any better with his shitty drafting & free agent signings.

Brees was the straw that stirred the drink but Payton provided structure, stability & motivation. There's a reason he was able to build up the franchise the way he did & turn Denver around so quickly.
