Age? The guy was hobbled when he was 19 in Year 1 and NOTHING changed the next 3 years. Big time injury bust that will not last another 5 years. But he got his 100 million so does he really give a shite?

I don’t expect Zion to play again this season. He’s out “multiple weeks” so assume he will be out through March. Nelson will make him do 1-2 weeks of ramping up, at which time we will be in the playoffs. Then IF he’s back it’ll be on a minutes restrictions.

But muh Nelson is so great!

4 years and less than 120 games ...
You would think he was older than LeBron.

I also find it interesting that this comes out AFTER the trade deadline - where the team would have been roundly criticized for not picking up a helpful player for the remainder of the season.

Kinda like when they made a huge push for season tickets a couple years ago - then announced a couple weeks later that Zion wasn't going to play for a long time.

These folks (front office) aren't serious about winning basketball games.

Well look on the bright side we are either going into WW3 or being invaded by aliens. The nba won’t matter anymore when that happens

That was recent correct? I bet they’ve kept this under wraps to not effect ticket sales

Haven’t had season tickets since 2019 and they have been blowing up my phone and e-mail about getting season tickets next year. Makes me think sales are bad.

He absolutely has to lose weight. At least down to 265. He’s a professional athlete. It’s really not that difficult to lose weight, especially at his age and, again, being a professional fricking athlete with access to team trainers and millions of dollars to hire a full time nutritionist/chef. This is an absolute must if he ever wants to stay healthy for a full season (70 games + playoffs).

David Griffin says Zion Williamson re- aggravated his hamstring injury

Now, it makes sense. When Griff said "sustainability", he was obviously talking about perpetual injuries.

You get 5 minutes to be frustrated….

Punch a wall, Scream to the top of your lungs, frick your neighbor’s wife (quick strokes)…..

Then take a deep breath and recite these words…. “Can’t change it..”
