The mariners hitting is the problem. Not the pitching.
He’s filled out quite a bit from last season to this one. He uses his legs a lot for power which allows him to throw an ungodly amount of high velocity pitches.

I often times forget OKC even exists outside of the nba.
The way the game is played with worse teams getting higher picks will always incentivize tanking. One player can change a franchise.

The Magic’s problems are that their star players don’t compliment each other well, Paolo hasn’t taken that next step into superstardom (and may never will), their coaching sucks, and in general they’re very up and down game to game (because of coaching and their main offense contributors don’t work together).
Their A+ game can compete with anyone in the East. They often times play their D level game.
