I’m sorry. There’s simply no possible way this team should be THIS bad, regardless of who is out.

No one has done less with more.

He assembled this team. He drafted these players. They are almost all shite.

frick this guy.

He needs to be gone.

The question is do you clean house, meaning firing Willie too, or just fire Griffin.

He is not competent enough to be an assistant manager at Smoothie King

Not sure if I said it in here over the summer, but it was CLEAR we had the worst backcourt in the league.

For all the Lonzo haters, we would’ve been better with him.

We couldn’t get anyone down here to play with us, which makes sense given Point Zion (for guards looking for bigger roles) and how Griffins rep took a hit.

A few teams loaded up on guards, and we’re SOL in that regard.

Without the injury/fitness we would be better but the roster is built without a fallback plan.

Lewis and NAW are misses at this point if Griff envisioned them as starters as reported.

Like Monty, Willie was going to get a job, here or somewhere else.

So I wouldn't be mad if the new GM inherited Willie, like Dell did with Monty.

Man that Lonzo trade was fricking putrid. What pisses me off is that he could have potentially traded Zo for Reddish. But decided not to. Griff has been notorious for keeping guys too long and then getting rid of them once their value drops. He did the same thing with JJ. Dude fricking sucks

The problem is that he views all of these values in a vacuum...

Reality is Lonzos value for pretty much ANY other team is higher than it was on the Pels because he might actually want to be there and ergo he might actually TRY

I recognize that Willie was dealt a bad hand with this roster

But I haven’t really seen much from him either tbh. Seems like a good dude but he’ll probably just need to be collateral damage in a purge of this horribly mismanaged franchise. Not sure it’s a huge loss either really, I guess is what I’m saying

And before last season teams were offering a first for Jj. Wound up getting garbage that’s not even here anymore. But hey we got cash for that second round pick

I'm not concerned about throwing away a diamond in the rough but I do worry about the instability with Zion going into an important contract year. I also wonder how good the relationship between Langdon and Zion is. If it's good you don't want to just fire Langdon without having a handle on who would replace him. Hiring a new GM isn't a guaranteed upgrade. You could easily hire another GM that won't connect with Zion.

I’m cool with just Griff being gone. I believe in Willie and I want to see what Langdon can do as head of basketball operations.

ETA: at the very least keep Langdon as GM. I think he’s one of the few in the org Zion actually likes.

Nah. Burn it all down. Langdon, Griffin, Cash. Gone.

My preference is to keep Willie bc 4 coaches in 4 years is just not good.

But FO all needs to go.

I agree. Willie’s frickin trying but the backend of this roster just looks so damn terrible. I don’t care who’s hurt, you shouldn’t be worse than teams in year 1 of rebuilds who are actively trying to lose when you’re in year three of Zion. Just no excuses y’all.
