Or maybe Ballmer is going to pony up the dough. Either way, Ingram was supposedly Plan B for Philly.

They still have to arrange for pieces for us because Reed / picks / space doesn’t do as much for us as getting pieces for right now.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Philly maybe looking at multiple moves? Have to think they wouldn’t need to give up much for Lavine, don’t understand what Utah’s role would be in this

Probably shipping out John Collins/ Sexton.

They have contracts to send out. John Collins and Sexton had pretty solid seasons respectfully last year.

The thing is Utah is rumored to be looking for a star to pair with Lauri, giving up two of their best tradeable contracts to facilitate a trade of Lavine to a team that doesn’t need someone to facilitate is weird.
Unless Utah is looking to get Lavine for themselves
ETA: It does appear Utah is trying to get Lavine for themselves, not involved as a 3 way, unless Philly is trying to get those players for another move (BI?)

It doesn't say they are in 3 team trade talks. It just says those 2 teams are in talks centered around Lavine.

Utah will be chasing picks and may offer some pieces, I’d guess.

They already have 16 1st rounders over the next 7 years, they good on picks, Ainge will start cashing some of them in.

If tweet fails to load, click here. 6ers beat writer says Philly not interested in Lavine, they mist be targeting players from Utah to flip while sending picks to Bulls.

So BI to Philly with the Pels getting back Kessler and Murray with picks going elsewhere like Utah and another team to send stuff to Atlanta?

They traded a guy they picked 6th overall, still on a rookie contract.
Don’t act like they got Caruso for nothing.
If anything they gave up a bit more imo.

I love that even after all these years, there’s still hope left inside you.

If we not getting Trae, this would be the ideal scenario especially if we get to keep our young guys. Could send out the lower of our firsts next year to make it happen if we had to. Then draft another center next week and call it a day.

I just don’t trust Griff anymore. His big splash last year was Cody Zeller. My Spidey senses are telling me he wants to “ run it back “ again

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we run it back. Maybe a couple minor moves but nothing major.

Not saying you should trust him, but he did straight up say we are going to be making changes after the season ended. It’s extremely rare for any FO guys to ever be that candidly blunt. I’d say it is almost assured that we are going to make a decent sized move

This is pretty big for the Kings. Many thought he was leaving.
