Hawk absolutely has to play more minutes next season. He's our most active shooter.

Additionally when is ownership going to put pressure on Griff. Griff was handed a rebuild on a silver platter. A #1 pick, a haul from the AD trade and another big asset to flip in Jrue. What does he have to show for it after 5 years? 1 hard fought first round exit, a disappointing play in loss last year, and probably another disappointing play in loss this year.

I don’t have much confidence in Griff. There’s at least 5 players Griff could have got while gm on that top 100 list someone posted the other day. Players I have said we should have got at the time.

Zion and BI cannot really co-exist. You cannot pay Trey 100+ and have BI making 200+.

As much as I love BI either he changes his play style to stop being so iso heavy or he has to go. A core of Zion, BI with a offensive philosphy change, Trey, Hawk, Dyson, Herb, and Jose is damn good with a couple of role players added in.

We need to do everything we can to get a big man who can shoot the 3 at above 35% on 3+ shots a game. See what it takes to get expiring Brook Lopez away from the Bucks, or go all in on a BI trade to get KAT from the TWolves. Hell at this point Edey said he could shoot the 3 but Painter doesn't let him, take a draft flyer on him and let's see what happens.

I can’t imagine they are sold on Willie. They would’ve extended him already. BI while a very good player should not get a max deal and does not fit next to Zion.

I understand what Griff has tried to do. He knows that players don't want to play in New Orleans, especially not stars.

He's tried to field a top to bottom very good team, built on really solid guys that are content being here, that aren't malcontents, etc

The problem is that the NBA is a star league, and if you don't have a transcendent guy (or 3), you aren't going to win shite.

I think the Donnovan Mitchell saga this offseason is going to make us realize our place/ceiling pretty quickly.

Unless we can get a major foreign superstar, it will combust.

Gayle doesn’t have the acumen to do what’s needed to compete with upper echelon.

Bob Myers, simple as that.

She also wont pay what’s needed to compete.

Getting gafford and PJ washington like dallas did would've changed our season and the trajectory of the franchise. Its moves that we didnt make will be our downfall

So they go after someone like Mobley whose value is super low right now, and then call it a day.

You’re dismissing this as a small move. That is a massive move and transforms our team. I know hes been hurt but Mobley is very good player and honestly vaults us into a top 4 in west conversation easily.

You can’t add Evan Mobley without giving up BI or Trey, and I wouldn’t give up either for him.

I might give up BI. Mobley fits this team better with Zion. Not Trey though.

CLE is going to be forced to deal an unhappy DMitch this offseason. They're not going to deal Mobley, too, without a HAUL.

A BI for Mobley framework deal IMO immediately improves our team.

I do not think Mobley is better than BI, but the fit is key here.

Just like I don't think Trey is better than BI, but I've seen enough o know he fits so much better with Zion, and most importantly the way the starting lineup is built, than BI does.

If they lose Mitchell, they're looking for another high usage guy to go with Garland, or I assume they are.

Ingram does seem like a decent fit there.

Not sure who mentioned this but I remember someone saying Griff loved Mobley at the draft and still does. He may love BI but Mobley is also a Griff favorite.
