I want

Tatum
Smart
Williams
Memphis Pick
A late pick this year to trade Hill for cap space
Sign Brogdon

I am assuming we can’t get Brown in the deal.

Brown > Smart

This is like a worst case scenario Boston deal

Boston offering everything but Brown and Memphis pick makes a lot of sense as their offer. It gives Ainge enough leftovers to at least go after someone like Beal to try and keep AD in town. The Pels liking that package the most is another question entirely. But yesterday was "We love the Lakers stuff" which is likely aimed at Boston and NY. Now it's "We love the Celtics stuff" which says LA and NY need to step it up.

My issue with that is if this is all a play to get the teams to come up further to the table, why float that Boston is leaving 2 of their top 3 assets off the table? If this was a play to send a message to NY and LA, I think you'd see Boston offering it all.

Hill’s going to have more value at the trade deadline IMO.

And I’m probably in the minority again on this opinion, but giving Brogdon big money is going to be a bad move for whatever team does it. He’s a good player, I wouldn’t want to give him big money. But what do I know.

Because the recent meme is that Boston won’t be involved at all and won’t offer Tatum which is the single best trade asset we can realistically get.

If Boston is in, all teams know that Boston can up the ante and easily beat other teams if they lowball.

Do Hill like they did Ajinca for Wes Johnson last year. Turn him into a more useful bigger contract like Mahinmi that you can flip for even more salary with a pick later.

That’ll be fun. The amount of hate Fletch will get from Lakers fans will make our hate look tiny.

Some of the posts on Reddit by Lakers people have been hilarious.

One guy legit thought it would be a good idea for us to trade Zion for Paul George.

Your not alone Burdman. Tatum is my favorite also but I believe there’s more to it if true. I mean Fletch is reporting it so.... consider the source.

I would be happy with Tatum, Smart, Williams, #14, and Memphis pick.

I think the Pels can leverage the Grizz pick, but pretty close to what I have been telling you. Tatum is the best centerpiece you are being offered, and the Celts know it. And not by a little, but a LOT.

I mean, maybe you go Knicks if you are super in love with Garland or if Morant slips, but thinking the Lakers, Nets, or Clippers offers are better than Tatum is pure idiocy, for lack of a more diplomatic way to put it. Smart is also a winner from the word go.

Celts have this all day long unless a *legit* dark horse steps up with a shocker like PG13.

I’m a Paul George fan but I dont get how someone can begin to rationalize this especially if we are still trading AD.

More importantly, locked in for a long time on a very reasonable contract.

I have been saying Celtics all along...like everyone is saying, things will change daily. It’s called LEVERAGE. Celtics have been front runner since 2017. They don’t have to include brown. Nets also still in play with possible three team deal-the Kyrie leak from Woj said a lot.

I’m not buying all the Ingram hype that has leaked out. We’re keeping our leverage with them Incase things with Celtics don’t work out.

Overall.. it is VERYYYY unlikely we get both Brown and Tatum. Think about it. Why do we want Brown anyway?

The rationale was that PG would help us keep AD.

I think at this point any trade we get for AD, everyone wont be happy with.

Smart
Jrue
Tatum
Zion
Vucevic

Williams has potential to be a solid defensive center. Smarts fine. We need the Memphis pick tho. I can get past not getting brown but the Memphis pick has to be in this
