Not sure how spoilers are working in this thread, so SPOILERS below.

Edited the post to just say no book spoilers. We can keep it to what we've seen so far and try and not spoil what might play out.

Hadn't posted since I watched it but I really enjoyed the first two episodes. I really like this concept. Definitely will be reading the books now.

Enjoyed the first 2 episodes last night. Reminds me a bit of LOST.

Is it an obligation in Will Patton's contract that he be a cop in EVERYTHING he is ever in?

When I see Will Patton I only think of his creepy role in No Way Out.

Will Patton is 'Chick' from Armageddon. Remember seeing those bus stop poster ads before the movie came out and wondering what the...?

The tension of episode 3 is fantastic. I’m really impressed with how the book is being translated to the screen and how it retains the tension and claustrophobic feeling.

He is the essential “that guy” actor for me. I had no idea what his name was but I know him and have seen him in a ton of stuff.

Decent episode this week. Kind of a move the story along episode with some action and drama.

Liking the show so far. Nothing too crazy off from the books if I’m remembering them right. I almost hate I read the books and already know the story for a good show like this. Oh well, I’m just happy there’s a good show to watch.

It was the same for me but that ending of episode 1 was awesome. I will watch episode 3 tonight.

Really enjoying this. I remember loving the first book and then either forgetting about it during the break for the next books (lol, this does happen to my dumbass) or being underwhelmed with the subsequent books

Either way, excited to watch something that I know has a good foundation but don’t remember all of the ins and outs!

Agree. It’s been long enough since I read the books that I don’t remember all the specifics (and it seems they may be tweaking some things anyway) but I am enjoying it so far.

They have added quite a bit that was not in the books so far (the character George, going down below and seeing the excavator, referencing a tunnel). All of these are improvements so far. In the books when the generator is shut down for repair, they just shut it down and repair it without a lot of drama.

Did anyone notice the momentary view of a green outside on the main screen when the power went off?
