Wow quite an accomplishment to come back against … checks notes … South Carolina. It’s even more impressive than that time Auburn came back against Bama in their house.

Eh. We’re going to roll with our current interim coach and then promote him after he spanks Bama’s arse. Perfect beginning to the Durkin era, imo.

Iron Bowl gets 6:30 time slot

The stadium will be rocking for the first night Iron Bowl in JHS since 2007.
That was pretty good. “Locally sourced”. LOL
I’m expecting the offense to improve. Addition by subtraction. Freeze would basically scrap the game plan and practiced plays during games. Kept the offense off balance.
I can't wait until we hire Durkin and he gets the program turned around and pushes the shite in of whatever coach Ole Miss hires after Lane bails for a better job.

LOL. Been there, done that. Bobo can stay far away.
I’d trade Freeze for Mullen right now.
Basketball season can't get here soon enough,

Hugh relying on home remedies to treat his cancer lines up perfectly with his MO of being a moron.
quote:

Auburn: Austin Simmons (Hugh made a big offer to him last offseason)

I don't think Hugh will have anything to do with how next year's roster is rebuilt after he either resigns or is canned in the coming weeks.

Arnold plays quarterback like a guy who has a closet full of rare Beanie Babies he brushes and talks to every night.
Honest assessment? This Auburn team has plenty of talent but is a quarterback and a competent coaching staff away from winning anything of note.

Damn shame. He was a joy to watch in college and the NFL.
I agree with this take. Terrible decision by Auburn.
His statue should already be in the works.
Terrible hire, imo. Auburn owes everything to Bruce for taking the basketball program to new heights. But it’s a program now and should be able to attract a better coach than Steven, who should have been trying to build a resume of his own as a head coach at mid-major the past few years.
