Your comment that I responded to:
Ok. Where did I claim there was no evidence?
What I said was that it was nothing but he said/she said and another poster claimed I was wrong and there was all this other evidence. I asked him what it was and he wouldn't answer, hence that post. I never claimed a victim's testimony (or the accused for that matter) couldn't be considered as evidence. It is here, I'm not surprised it is across the pond. But that's apparently all they have here and given the other circumstances I think it's a crappy reason to put a man in jail.

You have consensual sex, 20 years later she decides that the intercourse was consensual but the blowjob she gave you afterwards wasn't,
Why don't you use the actual scenario from court
The intercourse was consensual but said the painful anal rape that made her bleed for days was not. Doctors verified the injuries. She was pretty honest in court about meeting him and consenting but then screaming a loud as she could for him to stop when he was tearing her arse up and he wouldn't.
It was not a blow job she later changed her mind about - she had physical injuries and suffered pain - all documented in a physical examination at a hospital. She did not press charges at the time. So i guess he should get off because she was traumatized.
He claimed she liked it.
Has anyone done their own research on this guy, Many girls/women have come forward over the years to accuse him. He used to give interviews where he would say 'tax the rich' and 'f'ck capitalism' but in 2020 he was accused by a 16 year old and it got serious.
Suddenly he started finding religion and built an audience with the right who coincidently believe in taking the side of rapists over groups of women. I wonder why?

I did answer. Try again.

That's the genetic fallacy, mensa. I don't care about Russel Brand one way or the other, which is why I've kept my criticism restricted to the level of evidence used to put a man in jail. No, I don't believe a woman who stuck her tongue up his arse before he knew her name then waited 20 years to decide that her whoring around was actually rape is credible. You're free to find her credible if you wish.

I'm not overreacting. I'm acting quite appropriately to your idiocy.
Maybe you shouldn't be so sensitive if you're going to try to talk shite about someone directly and you piss down your leg.

Courts literally found him guilty
Brand is probably guilty, idk. Always seemed like a douchebag to me.
But let's not pretend court rulings are beyond any reproach.
Innocence Project fricks the boot sometimes, too. Just google Sheldon Johnson.

My point being all these people getting pissy at me or acting it's some psyop because he claimed to be born again Christian have literally nothing to fall back on other than their own paranoid delusions.
Brand is a disgusting person who has now been held liable for rape and used Christianity to trick people into thinking he's actually a good person. It's not an indictment on Christianity it's telling how much a piece of shite he is

You truly are dumber than dumb.

He maybe guilty.
I dunno
Dude sucks
But knee-jerking to "he unquestionably did it because jury" means you have to 100% agree that George Zimmerman, OJ, and Casey Anthony are not guilty
And that Hurricane Carter and the Memphis Three were definitely guilty when they were ALSO found as such by a jury.
When we know more I'll have more of a foundation for a stance.
Maybe you have more faith in the British court system than do I
One thing we can all agree one: Had he only converted to Islam, he would be not guilty in London courts. . .and his accusers would be seen as white nationalists for accusing him.

yeah what the guy who said this went through total witch hunt...
Novel legal theories as the basis for prosecution
converting misdemeanors to felonies so you can prosecute past the statute of limitations
If we can't agree Trump was prosecuted for purely political reasons, I can't take you at all seriously when you cry foul over Trump's DOJ prosecutions

Maybe the courts did frick up however if you're going to say the courts fricked up you have to actually state why then I don't trust the courts or some weird conspiracy.
OJ and Casey Anthony are good examples of courts not working however with most cases it's usually an Occam's Razor and the outcome reached was simply reached because said person is guilty

Wow - this is why women are more afraid of you than trans men in the restroom. Enjoy losing the next election too.

All the allegations or from before 2008. I don't even think he was famous then. He didn't even play in his first movie until 2008 from what I'm seeing. If anything nobody has come out and said he did anything after 2008 which is when he would have started to get famous. Either it's true, or some women are having regret that they didn't get with him in his prime in life.

Memphis Three's guilt was Occam's Razor, until it wasn't
Same with Hurricane Carter.
More will come out, and I will then determine for myself.
I don't have blind faith in systems
