Seems like she did have evidence considering he was found guilty. But continue to use mental gymnastics because you got duped by a shitty man using Christianity as a cloak

Maybe... but why? what would that get him. The vast majority of the population is far more against Christianity than for it.... I'm not sure how him touting Christianity really helps him.
It's not my place to judge his heart.

He doesn’t know what he’s saying. It’s just talking point after talking point. The guy is a goose stepping moron

It's clear that you are eaten up with actual real hate. Deep seeded hate. Deep seeded contempt for anyone who believes anything different from you. It has to be a painful way to live a life. I truly hope you find peace.
But to do that you'd have to find Jesus and with the way you are talking it doesn't seem like that's something you want.
God Bless

Yeah man, famously no one has ever used religion for personal gain or benefit, financially or for PR purposes

Sorta like no one has every made false accusations against famous people for personal gain or benefit, financially or for PR purposes.
A he-said, she-said conviction 20 years after the fact is lunacy. If what little I've heard is correct that's all this is, verbal claims.

We're living in far different times. Christianity doesnt get you the PR it did even 5 years ago. There is a reason that the vast majority of hollywood has distanced itself from Christianity for kabahla and other false testaments.

I may be getting it confused with his many other allegations, but didn’t he admit and write this out in a book?

This has to be one of he dumbest statements I've ever seen on here.
They had a ton of evidence on OJ. How did that turn out?

I’d agree it’s not as potent of a PR fix that it was in like the golden age, but it’s still an always available branch to grab onto whenever the walls are closing in and there’s no other alternative. He didn’t even make a believable attempt at the grift. I guess I can admire the dedication to the concept of forgiveness in some ways, but it does make some seem incredible gullible looking

yeah what the guy who said this went through total witch hunt...
You know you're full of shite. I don't expect you to admit it.

No idea. The claims I've seen he was convicted of just sound like 20 years after the fact someone decided it wasn't consensual. If that's all this is do you think that's a justification to throw someone in jail?

I wonder how uncomfortable the women cast on Get Him to the Greek felt on that set

Without knowing the facts or evidence, it seems very kneejerk to have an opinion on this case.
I can say that my mom worked with domestic abuse and sexual assault victims at one of those safe houses. Some were very willing to press charges, some were scared to do so, and some just wanted to move on.
I'm not saying these people are or are not actual victims; I'm not saying these people are or are not opportunistic.
I am saying that it's hard to come forth sometimes. I'm not the kind of person who thinks, "Oh, I like this celebrity... they cannot possibly do anything bad!" or "Oh, I hate this celebrity... every bad thing ever said about them must be true!"
That said, if the court found him guilty, I presume there was more evidence than simple heresy.
A quick search turned up the following:

A quick search turned up the following:
quote:
Supporting evidence
Witness testimony from friends, colleagues, and associates, including former assistant Helen Berger, who described Brand’s treatment of women but did not testify to unlawful acts (22 witnesses testified in regard to the first charge).
Documentary evidence, including the coded notes and phone entries referenced in the 2009 incident
The Metropolitan Police investigation, which gathered evidence from over 100 witnesses and reviewed thousands of documents

I don't. Not 20 years later, and it looks like it's all just he said, she said. If there's something more, fine, but as it stands that's a horrible reason to convict someone under these circumstances.

I mean, the search indicated there was digital evidence and 22 witnesses, not just accuser and accused saying it did or did not happen.
