I think the scene in the car confirms she actually does has some feelings for him. She says if she likes a guy nobody will know and goes back to the car to ask him if he likes her only after his shitty attempt at flirting fails. Seemed like she was willing to give it a chance if he just asked her out.

There's also the scene later on where she says she started having feelings for him around Christmas which would be well before the wish taking place. Although this could just be the demon lying to Bear

Finally got around to watching this and wow did it live up to the hype and then some. I don't think I have felt that tense for that long watching a movie in an extremely long time not at least since Hereditary

The girl who played Nikki was absolutely fantastic and deserves a Oscar nomination at the very least if not just winning the thing. Pretty much all her scenes were amazing but what really got me was when she kept moving around Bear's room telling him to go back to sleep

Speaking of Bear man I tried to feel for the guy early on because I do absolutely understand having feelings for a girl and keep fricking up your chance to ask her out but after the scene where he talks to the real Nikki when demon Nikki is sleeping I was like ok dude that's fricked up

Obviously felt awful for Nikki who was a prisoner pretty much the entire movie only to finally be free when everyone else is dead and she is likely to be going to jail or to a psyche ward. But I felt awful for Sarah too because goddamn she did not deserve that death absolutely horrific scene while also being extremely tense despite knowing pretty much what was about to happen

As others have mentioned the fact that they didn't play it safe and went with everyone but Nikki dead was the smart move definitely will make it continue to stand out against other horror movies

Well that's one way to get around the stupid lawsuit, that being said I'm excited for anything new related to Friday the 13th

Had a feeling all the previous 24 hours definitely had some mental toll on their players given how different they looked compared to the rest of the games.
