Top would include stuff like Alien/Aliens, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, etc. but I'm guessing you've seen those.
I'll also avoid those that I saw as I scanned through the thread, although I agree with several.
About Time was a sci-fi romance that I enjoyed more than I should have.
Looper is talked about a lot on here, but if you haven't seen it you should.
It's an 80's movie and it shows, but I don't think Repo Man gets enough credit.
Dark City is a really good combination of sci-fi/detective noir.
One of my favorite endings of all time...A Boy and His Dog, a 70's movie with a young Don Johnson in the lead.
I liked the Island with ScarJo and Ewan McCregor, but many I've talked to didn't like it. To each his own.
I recall liking Frequency with Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel, but I only saw it once when it was new.
ETA: Not a movie, but if you haven't seen the German series, Dark, it is well worth the efoort (may have to watch it twice to understand it
)
I don't know if it qualifies as a really enjoyable watch, but if you like time travel (which I obviously do based on my suggestions) watch the movie Primer. It covers time travel in a very meticulous way that is fascinating.

If you watch Dark City, watch the Director’s Cut or turn off the sound during the intro of the theatrical cut.
Bad editorial decisions by New Line brass hurt the film’s theatrical version.

Great recommendation. I've seen this numerous times, and it's always a great experience. I know people have issues with the third act, but I like it.

The Prestige (favorite of all time)
Brilliant!
Ok, here are some time traveling movies that are must see:

Another gem. I watched this with the wife a few years back after telling her how great it was, and she loved it. It hits perfectly on all levels.

I'll add:
quote:
In 1980, an assistant in the Department of Defense, Warren Lasky, is assigned by his mysterious chief Richard Tideman to visit the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz commanded by Capt. Matthew Yelland as an observer of the routines. Lasky learns that Commander Air Group (CAG) Richard T. Owens has a great knowledge of history. Out of the blue, the vessel faces a weird storm and they find they have traveled back in time to the eve of the attack of Pearl Harbor on 06 December 1941. When the two Japanese Zeros attack the motorboat of Senator Samuel Chapman, the crew of the Nimitz rescues the senator and his assistant Laurel Scott. But Lasky soon learns the senator had disappeared on that day and Capt. Matthew Yelland is planning to attack the Japanese. Will these actions create a time paradox?

If that one counts, then it's in my list. It's also my favorite movie ever.
So:
The Prestige
Primer (low budget, but maybe the best time travel movie ever made)
Then maybe something like Terminator 2.
ETA: I'll replace T2 with Starship Troopers, another favorite of mine.

Fun little sci fi / horror movie.
Having Peter Weller (Robocop) as the star is a bonus.

+1 on this. Dark City is a treasure and a must watch.
Looper is a bit of a hidden gem I guess.
Blade Runner 2049 bombed but it's an incredible movie and a worthy follow up to the greatest Sci-Fi movie ever.

Liked it but it confused the ever living crap out of me. I found a site that tried to explain the different time lines and I just gave up.

Back to the Future
Pitch Black
Matrix
1st 3 movies that popped in my head. If you haven’t seen Dark series on Netflix yet you shouldn’t be in this thread.
