Well I’m up 18.94 PPR going against Kittle tomorrow, you guys think I’m toast?
I hope so because I need a lot more than that from Kittle.
One of those looks like Toosi. No idea who the white folks are.
re: Saban coaching tree influence on the quarterfinals

The lucky part was when Rich Rod chickened out of the Bama job. If he takes the job, Saban ends up elsewhere.
There’s at least a little luck in every great decision.

College needs to figure out what the pros have…don’t overpay for RBs. They’re a dime a dozen.
Put your $ into oline, pass rushers, shutdown corners, and of course a QB.

We had it before with Bear Bryant. There will be another and he will also be in Tuscaloosa.
Bear didn’t have the kind of influence Saban had with assistants, largely due to the fact that so many assistants rotated through with Saban. In Bear’s day, assistant coaches (and head coaches) stayed at programs longer. I’m not saying he didn’t have a big assistant coach tree, but not like Saban’s.
Bear’s wider spread influence was with the players who later coached.

My season was a tale of two halves. Unfortunately, the good half was the first half of the season.
Through week 10, my lowest score was 113.58. Since then, I've only broken 100 once. :banghead:
Oh well...at least I got 1 playoff win. Good luck to those still in.
ETA: I guess there's a chance that Metcalf and Warren combine for 64 points, so I reserve the right to delete this post later.

Up 19.3 with the Dolphins Defense going against Waddle.
Trying to decide if my odds are better without the defense, but probably not since their defense has not had negative points all year in that league...did I just jinx them? Dagnabit.

Listed as active, then reinjures himself during warmups. What an a-hole.
And yeah, I heard…about 30 seconds too late.

What’s the problem? A TD was called, but the officials got together and changed to the correct call.
There are other angles that show he was clearly stopped short.

Only SEC members Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, OU, LSU have won a Natty in the last 40 years.
You only needed to go back 27 years and you seem to have forgotten someone. Probably blocked it from your memory.
re: How do we get the SEC to start scheduling Ole Miss / LSU on Halloween weekend?

I think it was last played on Halloween week in the early 90s, so probably associated with the Arkansas/USC expansion.

re: A CBS sports article relating to Michigan’s debacle and the likely route they take for HC

I would think Minter would be at the top over Brady unless they want an offensive guy just to help secure Underwood.
Minter was DC for their championship year and is more of a college coach than Brady.

Why those teams on that date?
Old school tradition. Game was typically played in late October with the famous '59 game with the Billy Cannon punt return being on Halloween night.
re: Michigan Insider Boards Seem To Think DeBoer Is Legit Possiblity
Posted by BhamTigah on 12/12/25 at 9:42 am to Gideon Swashbuckler
DeBoer is a midwest guy. There's always the possibility that he just doesn't like the south. Much of his coaching career was also spent in the midwest so he probably has better high school connections there.
Bama is definitely the better job, but living in the south is not for everyone.

Underwood just turned 18. He's BY far the biggest get in the portal if he leaves.
If he hits the portal, it will be a major bidding war. I think everyone here would take him, as would every coach in America. The question is not talent, but cost.
If you are pretty sure you could win with 5-10 points, I'd go with Fannin. If you think you need 10+ from that flex position, I'd go with Jamo.

Guillotine is more fun that I anticipated.
I put so much focus on my guillotine leagues that I kinda forget about my regular leagues. This is bad because my regular leagues are higher $ leagues.
Guillotine is just so damn fun, though.
re: Holy shite UGA got the biggest cupcake schedule
Posted by BhamTigah on 12/12/25 at 8:48 am to Sheppards Pie
When a team is really good, their schedule looks easier. Put UGA's schedule on almost any other team and it doesn't look so easy. You cannot make a schedule for UGA where they are not favored in just about every game.
