I rewatched Troy and noticed Brad Pitt is terrible in this movie

Still a great movie though
I realize Pitt has grown as an actor but he really didn’t fit in well with this film dialog-wise. His speech pattern reminded me of how he talked in Interview with the vampire. It was like he had marbles in his mouth.

During his big opening speech in Inglorious Basterds he turns and reads the cue cards (and Tarantino left it in). It's really ridiculous and hard to un-see

Imo, Pitt was at his best in Legends of the Fall. He just fit the part of Tristan Ludlow. But, again, the best actor in that was Aidan Quinn.

Pitt certainly didn’t act well enough to justify changing the entire story to keep him alive until the end, and subsequently allowing pussy arse Paris to live
