I believe TLJ is the worst writing / directing job in the history of film given what they had to work with from previous SW films and the EU.
The ST is like Bama’s fake FG against Clemson. Going for the first down in that situation was questionable to begin with and then the play itself was very poorly executed. Put it together and you have a clusterfrick.

Holding Earthbenders prisoner in a fricking rock quarry has to be on the very top. It would be like imprisoning the mob in a fully stocked bass pro shop having guards only armed with batons guarding the exit. I wonder how they can get out of this?
