Arizona St hasn't won it all since 1981? They dominated the 60s? That's neat I guess. How do you not have LSU in the top three mentions?
Let's hear your definition of blue blood then. Is it someone who once dominated the 60s/70s/80s?
I've looked up several definitions of blue blood and LSU fits them all.

You need to learn definition of blue blood. LSU is nobility. But to say they’re a blue blood is stretching it. I say they’re kings of course. Not being a blue blood isn’t an insult

Can't have a definition if you just make up your own rules.
Made omaha in 5 different decades with 7 national championships and 3 different coaches, held the national attendance record for 20+ years, and widely known as THE premier college baseball program across the country...not a blue blood.

To say the school with the 2nd most championships in the sport and most in the aluminum bat era and has won with multiple coaches isn't a blue blood is fricking stupid.
the blue bloods
Texas
USC
LSU
Miami
Arizona State
Stanford

Vandy
Oregon State

Here is the bottom line: you win 7 national titles, you’re considered a blue blood. Really no other discussion to be had. Doesn’t matter the sport.
I agree LSU qualifies as a blue blood but I wouldn't set a bright line rule with regards to certain achievements. The term blue blood carries historical meaning and weight. There's a temporal component. You have to be consistently good for long periods of time. It's why Miami (football) was not considered a blue blood during their dominant run.
The question is when does a nuveau riche program earn blue blood status? Think of FSU football, Gonzaga basketball, Vandy baseball, etc... And when do we think about downgrading programs who go through prolonged slumps - USC baseball, Nebraska football, etc...

The problem is that most people don't give a damn about college baseball enough to remember that Southern Cal used to dominate the sport.

Either USC or LSU at #1. Then Texas.

It's like debating between UK vs UCLA in bball.

LSU is the one true blue blood with Texas a close second
Nobody gives a shite about USC college baseball

I mean you can't just ignore 12 titles (and they were all legit titles won the field and not claimed mythically based on polls). Is UCLA no longer a blue blood in bball?

I’d say LSU is the bluest of the bloods currently. USC baseball is akin to Notre Dame in football.

LSU is a blue blood in college baseball as much as Duke is in college basketball. And if you don’t think LSU is a college baseball blue blood, you’re just dumb.
thats a great comparison because Duke really wasnt prior to coach K

How many programs have won championships with multiple coaches?
LSU has had 3 different coaches win.
Texas has had at least two.

USC hasn’t really been in the mix on over twenty years, but they’re still a blue blood.
I’d say
LSU, USC, Texas, Arizona, Arizona State, and Miami.
That second tier would include schools like Mississippi State, Clemson, FSU, Cal State Fullerton, Stanford, Oklahoma State, etc

I don’t know how to tell you this but 7 titles gets you to Blue Blood status in college baseball regardless of when you got them

Seems like you’re intentionally trolling LSU, who are now in second place alone behind USC in titles and have appeared in Omaha in five straight decades.
