For me the 3 true blue bloods are
USC
Arizona St
Texas
The Nobility of College Baseball
LSU
Miami
Florida St
Oklahoma St
Stanford
Then there’s that level below those guys that include teams like Vandy Wichita Minnesota Arkansas etc

Where would you rank CSU Fullerton and Oregon State?
Posted on 3/5/22 at 7:23 pm to Mr. Hangover
SC most titles
Arizona St CWS appearances every decade since the 60’s
Texas 2nd highest win percentage and 79 conference titles tied with LSU with titles most CWS appearances
So you were saying idiot?

LSU is a blue blood in college baseball as much as Duke is in college basketball. And if you don’t think LSU is a college baseball blue blood, you’re just dumb.

Fullerton is in that 3rd level as is Oregon
They’re not new money but they have money and somewhat lost the social standing. Like Wichita

USC hasn’t been relevant in Baseball in quite sometime. That’s like saying Nebraska is still a blue blood in college football…….what have you done recently along with the past?

LSU is absolutely in the top group. USC’s place in that group will be revoked in another 10 years or so. Arizona St. is trending the wrong way also

You need to learn definition of blue blood. LSU is nobility. But to say they’re a blue blood is stretching it. I say they’re kings of course. Not being a blue blood isn’t an insult

Interesting that the winningest program is Fordham.

By your standards some ivy league schools and Army are football blue bloods

If LSU isn’t a blue blood, you need to be consistent and say Miami isn’t a blue blood in football and Duke isn’t a blue blood in basketball.

Blue blood is a term teams that are no longer relevant use to make themselves still feel relevant
i.e. Nebraska/Tennessee football
