No one wants to believe it but he lost his qb of the defense when Whit went down.

Whit said it himself on his interview with TM7. Just about all of the busted big plays they gave up last year were just miscommunication.
Regardless of the reason, this isn’t good.

I think the pearl-clutching over this has been laughable considering the money being thrown at these players now, and the gambling culture that has been fomented.

Betting lines run constantly during games. Betting apps are advertised constantly on TV. Hell, Gameday does their Superdog segment weekly. But everybody feigns shock and awe about how this could happen.

Its not shock and awe, its pretty simple. They absolutely cannot have players who participate in the competition bet on the games.

A lions player opening a betting app in a team facility, not even betting on football is not anywhere close to Sorsby betting on his own team AND betting upwards of $90k in college. He even fricking had player prop bets on his own team, used other peoples accounts, etc.

Who threw the first punch?

I initially commented because of knowing about the church via our experience

So you didnt answer my question of why you intentionally left out that Spell did not throw the first punch.

Who fricking cares what a trash meth head posts online about you?

This isnt some random meth head posting online. Its a literal neighbor. As in, knows exactly where you leave and could do exactly what he claimed in the blink of an eye.

As I said, even a normal person might shoot you in that scenario, a crackhead almost certainly will.

Normal people arent threatening to rape other people

Aint neither side of this is "right", and it's laughable that one involved is running a church

Right or not is irrelevant. Sometimes beatings are justified though. And by the way that twink allowed another man to mount him and treat him like a child, makes me think he hopefully learned a lesson.

He then fought the guy and continued hitting him while pinning him down, which is on video and not open for debate. He got at least 2 more punches in that way.

Why do you intentionally leave out that Spell didnt even throw the first punch.

Is Yelp dead?

As a business owner who relies on reviews, yelp is well beyond dead. I dont know how to explain it but I've found a correlation between yelp users and batshit insane people.

As the husband of an equestrian rider, any other answer is flat out wrong.

Out of curiosity, when RJ Luis soon files his lawsuit for eligibility are you hoping he wins or loses?

Yup. Just like every other gray area eligibility issue such as Shambliss.

Sorsby situation isn’t remotely close but you know that.
As a business owner who’s received bad checks before, I hope he actually faces consequences unlike the others I’ve had to deal with.

a team can turn into a ghost in the shell overnight.

I think you're over exaggerating. They were the favorite when it was thought Sorsby wasnt going to be eligible. They have a ridiculously easy schedule avoiding almost all of the top teams in the Big 12. Hammond was good last year and they arent remotely tested until the 3rd game at best.
Least surprising thing ever.

Major market starved of a championship for decades in a city prone to front runners.

i feel like they are doing what any fanbase would do but yea they are throwing out some wild stuff

If this was a Shambliss situation or something similar then I'd agree.

But the dude bet (a shite ton honestly), and did so while being a member of the team participating in those contests.

Regardless of fandom I can say my stance wouldnt change. Dude shouldnt be involved in CFB moving forward. He straight up broke a big time rule.
Good. This is getting ridiculous with local judges and their bullshite rulings.

I can't imagine having to run a small business these days.

You'd be floored at the amount of people that go into a business, approve services/products, and then claim they cant pay.

It's wrong, but until there's a governing body to put a stop to this BS it will continue happening.

That’s the problem with this exact situation. We have a governing body who already has clear rules and precedent set for this exact situation.

quote:

I don't blame the courts for this.

Well you should. The reasoning the judge gave was absolute bullshite and there is already precedent set for this. Just about every talking head including lawyers and agents in the industry didnt expect this to happen.

The blame falls on Texas Tech. Why are they even fooling around with this guy? It's pitiful. Texas Tech should be CFP banned for 3 years.

But also true
Uhhh we are already hated because of Lane and Wade. If Sorsby did end up at LSU it would absolutely be 100x worse than what tech is receiving right now.
