You ignored every sign that it was serious and despite him being charged still said people shouldn’t jump to conclusions. It was obvious that this wasn’t some minor DUI incident.

hey man, i just wanted to say congratulations. by making assumptions (that ended up correct), you got to be pissed at Henry Ruggs 20 hours before us who just wanted to wait and make sure of the facts. Again, congratulations on a job well done. I hope you lived it up during those 20 hours, you absolutely deserve it.

God forbid someone isn’t the first to vilify a person after an incident like this and wants to actually wait to see the circumstances

I was defending Tornado Alley’s post. Just because it turns out Ruggs’ decisions were even worse than we all thought means waiting until the facts was the wrong decision.

All the signs that came out were a really bad sign. The release by the Raiders and then the arrest. I just think it’s fair to wait until you know the facts before you jump all over somebody for doing an evil thing. There’s no prize for being the first person to vilify as you said.

What a fricking dumbass. Driving 156 sober is retarded, much less drunk.

Doesn’t the NFL have a 24 hour car service? I would never drive again if I had that available for free.

Thought you were, but could understand someone taking it the other way so wanted to clarify myself.

I don’t know why people are mad at someone for waiting for facts to come out. I thought that’s what we were supposed to do in society.

Also, kinda funny that McCraig is the one getting super mad about it based on all his posts about the Baylor sexual assault cases and the conclusions that were jumped to in that. Just a completely opposite opinion.

It is. But our society doesn't function like that anymore. Now there are many kneejerk overreactions and "hot takes."

Prosecutors said Ruggs was traveling 156 mph two seconds before the crash, and was at 127 mph when the airbags deployed in his Chevrolet Corvette. Judge Joe Bonaventure responded that he couldn't recall speeds that high in his career on the bench.

Prosecutors also said Ruggs' blood-alcohol content was 0.161 -- twice the legal limit -- and that a loaded firearm was recovered from his vehicle.

I don't see this being a humorous matter. Your laughing smiley is in bad taste no matter the intent.

I honestly think he will be made an example of. No judge or jury can overlook the facts on this one. Very tragic situation of many lives ruined for 1 decision and I'm not talking about Ruggs life.

It doesn’t get worse.

I was crucified in this thread yesterday for shitting on Henry Ruggs. “Wait to see all the facts!!!” “He’s not some monster”

He was driving 156 MPH, his BA level was twice the legal limit, and oh yeah he had a loaded gun in the car! A 23 year old girl is dead because of him, but yet some people white knighted for Ruggs yesterday and decided to stick up for a killer and shite on me. “Wait to see all the facts!!” How shitty do y’all feel right now?
