How in the hell did Auburn not get penalized on that play? The kid almost breaks his neck from jumping over the top. Exactly what the rule is supposed to prevent....

re: Last plays of LSU/Aubun game as described by the Auburn Radio Network (bring small violin) - WhoGeaux
I wonder how up in arms they were when the Auburn fumble/LSU recovery was completely disregarded earlier in the game? You can't do much bitching about the refs when they single handidly dis-allow a turnover in your favor....

re: Ginn's route running ? - WhoGeaux
Why? Don't they practice?
Not at true game speed. Due to strategic injury risk aversion you don't actually get a good read on a team until weeks 3-5. First week or two of the season have turned into what the pre-season was intended for. Alot of the blame for this has to do with...

re: Honestly, the saints D weren’t really good last year either - WhoGeaux
The only difference between good NFL defense and bad NFL defense is the ability to cause turnovers and/or get off the field on 3rd down....

re: How fast does this place turn on burrow?? - WhoGeaux
There are nuances to his game that most will continue to recognize as positive even if there are struggles. Personally I believe we are going to see continued improvement throughout the year. ...

re: Compensatory pick makes this a no lose scenario - WhoGeaux
No it's 100% about the amount of players first and foremost. Just go look it up.

The Basics As explained by AdamJT13: As the NFL explains, compensatory picks are awarded to teams that lose more or better compensatory free agents than they acquire. The number of ...

re: Compensatory pick makes this a no lose scenario - WhoGeaux
It’s not about numbers of players it’s about contract amounts. You can still sign good fa’s that don’t equate to the 15-20 million per year that a free agent qb may demand. Compensatory pick would definitely be in play if he leaves...not to say it’s the focus just a potential avenue of ROI...

Compensatory pick makes this a no lose scenario - WhoGeaux
Eric Edholm @Eric_Edholm #Saints pay heavy price for sure. But there is logic involved ... * Super Bowl contender * protects best asset in Brees * price (3rd in '19) hurts, especially after trading 1st to GB, but ... * if they don't re-sign Teddy, they'll possibly get 3rd rou...
