I stand by what I said. Did you have to edit to spell sanctimonious correctly?

Excuse my ignorance but Why? He was obviously messed up but .16 isn't an insane number for the bar to cut someone off.

According to this Nevada law firm's website, Nevada dram shop law is very limited.

If he was driving drunk and killed people he should spend life in jail or be executed. I have no sympathy with people who drink and drive. Almost been killed twice by drunk drivers.

Obviously this doesn’t excuse his culpability, but 18 shots and BAC of .16 means he was probably blacked out and has no independent recollection of the event that irreversibly changed his life, bankrupted him, and will land him in jail for a considerable amount of time.

That’s kinda gotta be a mindfrick in and of itself.

If he’s in a group of 6 people that’s not that much. Most people aren’t just at Top Golf working on their swing by themselves

I was going to post this yesterday but felt it wouldn't have been received well. Imagine waking up like he did this morning. His life path has...changed a bit in the preceding 18 hours. Hell he may never physically recover from this in a meaningful way. Broken body, mind, soul, and bank account....while possibly not being out of jail for 10+ years.

In the spirit of this thread, I will take a hair follicle test if necessary to prove my innocence.

Thats not that steep of a price for killing a person, possibly in one of the most horrible ways imaginable

Way before 4 AM. That wasn’t his last stop before the wreck.

I'm not discussing it as a measure of equity, just as a very shitty morning from his POV

Train your whole life for the come up, get a taste for six months and then throw it all away.

Suicide is not off the table at this point.
