I saw where they didn't even win their group and aren't playing well.
I never thought as an American I'd root against the red, white, and blue, but frick 'em. Here we are. It's a sport I can't stand being played by a bunch of entitled woke bitches that I also can't stand. So "go Sweden" or something

I rooted for them in 2019 through all the kneeling and politics
This year I’m rooting against them because the new contract they petulantly cried for takes tournament prize money from the men. They are now a permanent detriment to the real bread winner of the federation

I actually wonder if some of the ladies on the team actually don't buy into Rapinoe's political bullshite.

There are some of them I don't care for, but not all of them. Its a younger team so a lot of them had nothing to do with that

Judging by Carli Lloyd's comments...she is NOT happy with the effort and passion for the game!! Clean house...name her as the coach...bring in new players that actually WANT to wear the colors.

I get it. But sometimes what you get is just small minority who makes the most noise, so it's hard to tell if the percentage of haters is 100%, 50%, or 10%. It's like Twitter--once you get the "echo-chamber of hate" rolling, it may seem like a lot of people feel a certain way, when in reality it's a small circle jerk.
Judging by the OP, it's about 2-1 in favor of "haters" right now.

Alex Morgan has to be pissed. She was probably in line to be one of the biggest female stars on the planet, only for Rapinoe and the rest completely tanking the female US Soccer brand.

I haven’t watched a second of the Women’s World Cup, but judging by things I’ve read, this could be true. On her way out, I think she’s much more concerned with the team carrying on its political activism than the results of the actual matches. The team is likely divided over that issue.

Morgan only has herself to blame for not standing up for what was right. She went right along with Rapinoe’s hatred for the country and ignorant, Woke politics.
