Are most posters on this board very financially well-off?

The level of knowledge on this board, coupled with other comments, suggests, Yes.

MTB versus national averages...the financial acumen would be off the charts. My assumption is financial acumen would drive behaviors such as discipline and financial interest that are key building blocks to wealth generation.

I’ve seen some awfully wrong answers on this board. If you want good advice, check out the Home and Garden board. Those guys are experts.

Considering a majority of Americans could not come up with $1000 if an emergency came up, yes this board is way beyond the National average and relatively well-off

This board is one of the most constructive, productive, intelligent, sophisticated, responsible and well-mannered boards on all of the interwebs.

I’ve got a bunch of unrealized losses but when those turn around I’ll move out from under the overpass

Define well off? I’d say upper middle class and probably a little bit more responsible than most.... a wide spectrum overall but that’s probably the bread and butter

I'm posting from the overpass. Spent most of the day at Wal Mart looking for handouts.
