Once the PCSA goes into law, 5 for 5 becomes the enforceable rule.

Defense is nasty.

Yes, Baker’s D was soft in 1H. But, Chambliss was always going to get his.
However, the offense significantly underperformed. Lane’s offenses usually avg 500 yds per game. And offense last night put up like 330 yds.
And, we know Charlie Weiss Jr is a fantastic offensive mind. His multi-year track record proves that he is great. But, he can only work with the tools that he has.

Going back to last December when the announcement first broke, the most outraged person on Game Day was Rece Davis. Herbstreit really didn’t say much. Nor did Desmond. And McAfee doesn’t know shite about college football. It was Rece overstepping his role with the outrage. Then, in support, you had Alabama puppet Finebaum chiming in as well at every opportunity…as he still does today. Even McIlroy got into the act. Fast forward to the present and now you have Birmingham-based Sankey and Birmingham-based author Talty trying to tear down Lane/LSU.
These inbreds were fine with Lane at Ole Miss. And, they were fine when they thought he would eventually go to Alabama. But, when he went to LSU, all hell has broken loose. And, we all know why.

LSU needs to push for Sankey to be removed as this has been a major embarrassment for all involved under his leadership.
If not, he will find something/anything to come back against LSU to save face.
Hell, the SEC so desperately wanted to hang LSU that they tried to stretch Lane’s halftime comments into LOIC.
Heads need to roll.

Agree 100%. The vitriol is obvious and irreversible. We will have the overhang of double secret probation for years to come.
Time to work on an exit strategy.
Maybe sync up with A&M who is also disenfranchised with the SEC as well as disenfranchised ACC members like Clemson and FSU to create a Big 10 South division of the Big 10. These 4 additions would provide the Big 10 access to the Dallas/Houston markets (A&M and LSU alums) as well as the Atlanta/Florida markets (Clemson, FSU, and some LSU alums).
Separately, the SEC would never provide the type of transparency the Big 10 is now enacting with instant replay. While the Big 10 originally messed up, the fix is fantastic and something that the SEC would never do. They like being able to say that Patrick Peterson was out of bounds without being challenged.
Time to work on an exit strategy.
